In all seriousness, Rosen's attitude doesn't bother me at all. I don't mind arrogance (because I'm arrogant by nature), just keep it cool and you better be able to back it up or look the fool (except if you're Cassius Clay/Ali, haha). You have to have internal arrogance to make it on any level in any walk of life, but publicly, I much prefer quiet confidence. It sits far better. Someone else mentioned Johnny Manziel in this thread. Typical example. He's begging for a job now.
Thanks for sharing; that was a good interview. I like him and hope he falls to 3. He's gotta be the guy if he's there
I didn't vote! It's not because I'm a waffling chicken shit! And it's not like I'm Hamlet and I can't decide! I just can't figure out how to push the damn button! What is this, a ballot box in Venezuela? But yes! My answer is no! Signed, -Mrs. championjets69
Wow, after this interview I am so impressed by his way of thinking. Dude is opinionated but he is wise and has a great mind. He will be such a solid student of the game. Football is not your whole life people, he knows that...All we can hope for is he gives us 15 years of amazin quarterbacking before he does something else full time
Can we morph Baker and Josh? then there would be no question about who can orchestrate a comeback when its 21-7 early fourth
Likewise here...I believe in having a open mind and learning about everything. No better place then in NY
A valid question is will the Johnson's political stances preclude the Jets from drafting Rosen? I can recall when Woody said electing Romney was more important than winning. Since then he is even moved further to the right. Will having a QB that does not advocate against Trump be more important than winning? It is a real possibility that the Johnson's take Rosen off the Jets board.
AFAIK, Chris is not a Trump supporter and has supported the anthem "protests," even locking arms with the players before a game.
Christopher Johnson is apparently different from Woody. Rosen also said his dad voted for Trump and paid money for his campaign while his mom is a liberal. I dont see any red flags. Also, I can totally see it. This guy is Mac's speed. Mac traded up to have a shot at him or Mayfield. Remember when that trade happened. Right after he saw those two..
That interview plus this article: http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/football/jets/revealing-story-josh-rosen-blow-article-1.3924714 He's the guy we need.
I always detested being told that I was "opinionated". Of course I'm opinionated. Opinionated. Opinions are flexible, opinions are subject to change, but if you have don't have a stance, you're milquetoast. Wishy washy opinions never sat well with me. So many words have lost their shades of meaning. "I hate the KKK!" "You're opinionated!" "Yeah, here's my fist!" That's just my opinion.
Wow man when the going got tough for his teammates, instead of whining he worked his ass off to pay $1500 each athlete by coming up with a solid business idea with a local company. He did that without even telling his teammates. Selfless man. That is not just a QB1, thats a innovator and leader
I am opinionated too...Some jobs want to hear your opinions and figure things out together. My last job didnt care much for my opinion. Stuck in their own ways. Some people treat football like that...I meamt in context of work.
I agree that it would be idiotic to take Rosen off the board but we are not dealing with very bright people. Essentially two people born on third base who think they both hit triples. Woody has put politics ahead of football before will he order it again? Which leads me to also question what was the reason we allegedly never made an offer to Demario Davis? Was it his social justice work and political stances? His salary and Williamson's were almost the same with Davis being a 3 down player who has already played well in our defense vs. Williamson a 2 down player. Was this politics again being played by the Johnsons? It does not matter whether Mac likes Rosen or not ultimately it is the Johnson's decision. It is a valid question. Is Rosen on the Jets draft board? These are questions the supposed journalists who cover the team should be asking. But then again asking such questions could lead to them being freezed out of information.
He has hairy arms and his eyebrows are questionable! Ryan Fitzpatrick needs to give him some grooming tips! I'm just gonna !
