almost 8pm weather was awesome today, it might have been the best day weather wise since we got here,,,that said looks as if tomorrows event continues to fall apart,,,I hope so,,,,can't wait to post from 32 degrees and not mid 80's ugh

good news!!...after the small potential for Monday/Tuesday...the atmosphere and Jet finally looked at the calendar. Looks like a very slow moderation in temps and then...drum roll....SPRING. Its over boys....warm weather a week away.
6 1/2 hours later and we just got to Georgia ,,,traffic unreal ,,,started looking for Auntie M and flying monkeys when we hit Jax pitch black and poured temp dropped like 15 degrees in 5 miles,,wife drivung CBG getting ready for a nap ,not sure if I do the maraton drive later or sleep somewhere,,most like ly marathon,, great news Jayster on the arrival of spring, ps u guys keep me posted on what to expect up north,,buddy left hours before me and is in Virginia says it's raining, catcG u guys in a bit or after some zzzzzz
made it home alive,,,,,took us almost 24 damn hours ( I can usually do it in 19 and change ) to get home,,,,,6 1/2 to get out of Florida should take 4 or 4 1/2,,,,,,and then sat in traffic everywhere , at one point we sat for almost an hour and barely moved,,,,,,,,rain sucked also as it poured,,,ps it snowed in Raleigh NC ( huge flakes ) thank god it was too warm to stick,,,but going from 86 to 34 degrees blows,,,,,now if I can catch my breath and stay awake I will catch up on weather and whatever I missed
I am glad you made it home safe. First FJF and now you. I also want to drive to Florida one day. Let's see when that happens.
Fjay I hit construction by Daytona ,they are working on a bridge on 95 it went from 3 lanes to 1,,so that was unavoidable and then we hit all types of traffic and literally crawled thru Georgia to South Carolina so all this was unavoidable as you can't hookup with 26 until well into S Carolina and by then we were moving okay it just rained a lot and it was actually snowing hard in Raleigh NC but too warm and not crazy rates to stick. I try to hit Washington either late at night or very early AM and have not hit traffic in a long time,,,,,81/ 77 is definitely more scenic ,I really like it but it is longer for sure and I was not going thru the Shenandoah Mountains with the snow or ice threat ,,thanks for the welcome back
Jay ,,,maybe I am wrong but it looks like we could get a wee bit of snow Monday nite Tuesday,,,,, then it gets real warm end of the week-----> but then it looks like we might cool down again after that, thoughts ?,,,,,ps thanks for the help with my florida Travels
Anytime for you CBG. Yeah...little event overnight tonight and tomorrow..then a real nice warmup..followed by a cooling trend but at least a normal cool trend for April. Hey...there is a reason they say don't plant garden/flower until May 15th so I'm sure there will be flirts with overnight freeing temps over the next 30 days. Snow is over at least by the morning until next winter at least.
Ok ----> so Friday / Saturday gets stupid warm definitely 70s and some peeps have a shot at 80 freaking degrees but Sunday / Monday the temps drops like 30 or 40 freaking degrees = this is ridiculous ! I know Jay said it was over and Im only a novice / Snow Whisperer or whatever Brook called me but this aint quite over yet!!!! Someone in Northern NY could see snow again ,,,,,just crazy !!!!!
