He asked based on charisma, personality, likability etc.

For me that's rosen. I find him the most likeable because he's smart. he doens't waste time with childish nonsense. He is a straightfoward person who uses his brain.

And none of that stuff relates to intelligence, you liking him because he is smart/ intelligent doesn't make Rosen have likeability.

I vote Rosen. The QB position calls for a certain type of mental stamina, as well as a slight amount of "know it all". WR's, RB's and even lineman depend on their QB to take the reigns during the game and have the confidence to make and stand by their decisions. I think Rosen has that quality and has the pedigree to take the reigns of an offense. He's very intelligent and meticulous, you need that at QB in order to compete against guys like Brady, Matt Ryan and Rodgers. Get Rosen, surround the guy with good protection and places to throw the ball, I think we will be good.

intelligence is part of one's personality. It also makes you (in my opinion) very likeable. charisma is essentially the ability to make one like you. Bullshitters have good charisma but i don't find them likeable. I'll take someone smart over someone who says what they think you want to hear.

Agree 100%, I would say how you present ideas and your confidence level all goes into that as well. You need someone who not only has ideas, but knows how to enable others to follow after those ideas. I think Rosen has that nice edge about him for the next level and the talent level to back it up. He will thrive in a complex West Coast system like Bates is supposed to implement. The only thing I think could affect him is health, his mental strength and tough demeanor are good for this environment. Long Island or Jersey is a terrific environment for him.

Give me the laid back country boy. I don’t want some one who might blow a fuse out there.

i understand the worries about his consussions, but mayfield has had the same amount of them and nobody bats an eye. the only reason it's such a big deal for rosen, is because people cna't find any other flaws to harp on. Injuries are a fickle beast. you can have a guy like teddy who never got hurt in his life, drafted in the 1st round, was making great progress, then blows out his knee without even contact and misses pretty much 2 years and now is fighting for a job. You can't really predict injuries unless it's a naggging thing over time. concussions arne't like that, however once you get 1 you are more likely to get more.

    Personality I take mayfield
But my first choice to draft would be
    1 Rosen
Then Allen and mayfield are a tie to me would be happy with any of those 3

I can see it now, Baker Mayfield throws a football at a Vontaze Burfict's head prior to the game against the Bengals.

Burfict takes off Mayfield's head, despite the flags and such ... now the Jets don't have a QB. But I am sure that would set Mayfield straight. He would become a shell of his former self.

I would say Allen for just personality. I haven't really heard much about Darnold, and think that Rosen/Mayfield have the spark of charisma that has the ability to really set off some fans/reporters in the wrong way and it would have an adverse effect on the team.

This is NY. That same swagger people say they love him for will turn into that same source of hate if/when he starts to struggle. Adams and Lee are both teetering on the edge of this double edged swag sword.

Do you really think anything reporters write really has an effect on the team? I don't. If it does, then we have a lot bigger problem with the Jets team and its leadership than lack of talent.

Rosen. Smart kid. It shows in interviews. Cares about his play, but not so much about what other people think. A lot has been made about Jim Mora, Jr.'s. comments. When the coach is calling plays that puts three receivers in the same spot, or calls a three yard curl on 3rd and 7, we’d probably be asking “why” a lot, too.

Would not complain with a Darnold. Kid is pretty young, but he does a great job leading by example (taking extra time to help Jones) and putting the hours in.

I like Allen .. I believe he has the best personality to work with and willing to learn..... he won’t be ready week 1 and I think we as fans would have to be patient with him....... Rosen is aloof but he’s pro ready I could see him under center opening day very smart but the team needs to protect him with better line help because he is a pocket passer .... have to wonder how he would relate to Bowles .... Bates we hear is smart and would challenge Rosen .... question guys.... do you think Bates could be the next head coach?? The players play hard for Bowles but not sure he’s the right man to lead Rosen
