the ACC shut out of the Final Four. 9 teams in, most with favorable high seeds. All of them sitting home
I hope it's Loyola vs. Kansas as the Kansas AD once fired Loyola's coach. That would be too cool of a matchup. I don't think that's gonna happen though. Villanova is playing far too efficiently on offense that I think it's their tourney now.
This is the match-up I want as well, but unlikely. Loyola-Chicago and Kansas are both 5 point underdogs in their games, so maybe get this match-up 11% of the time if going by implied odds.
JUSt saw womans final , wow , Notre dame, winning shot by same girl who did the same in semi final, might win mvp too
ugh...Disappointed but haven't felt this much Joy from Michigan in a long time. Just zero ambition on offense.
Congratulations to Villanova and Jay Wright. I remember going to Hofstra games when they still played in the gym, and the excitement when Wright coached Speedy Claxton to the NCAA tournament for the first time in 2000, playing in the brand new arena, 5 minutes from my house.
Yes, 5 years ago to me is a long time and before that the Only team that I Enjoyed watching was the Fab 5 Fresh....that was eons!
Nova ran through the tournament with ease with upperclassmen, former redshirts, and transfers. Maybe it's time some of these other teams get a clue. Chasing "one-and-done" superstars might make you highly visible but it does not help your chances of winning the big one
Jay Wright has come a long way. I remember like 6-8 years ago all you heard was that he cared more about his suits than winning. Now he's considered one of the best coaches in the game and is relatively young. He could win a shitload more championships too.
