I don't really see anyone fanboying allen. this board is very much in the way of fanboying mayfield. Most of the "allen supporters" are basically choosing him as a consolation for losing out on rosen or darnold and acknowledge his flaws. Most of the allen supporters would rather have darnold or rosen because they believe those 2 are better. the mayfield supporters make it sound like he's going to have a tom brady like career. nobody says that about allen

Ya pretty childish as I didn’t make one post about how great he did...

I personally feel that test is outdated and teams just use it to see how comfortable these kids are talking football

So everywhere a potential FQB could land is equal?

I've seen some Allen fanboying here though there is more Mayfield fanboying. Anyway Darnold is my top choice, so I'm not jumping on the Mayfield hype train. I still like Mayfield better than Allen though (but I would take Allen over Jackson).
Didn't say you were an Allen fanboy, was referring to a different poster. Anyway, Allen scoring high on the Wonderlic doesn't really mean anything, so the haters are right in ignoring it. Whether it's right to hate him in general is another story.

Because Darnold is viewed as the best QB in the draft?

Clearly I said I don't put as much weight as some fans who look too blame others for a player they like shit the bed. Nowhere does that say all landing spots are equal. Jets fans blame 3 OCs and Rex for Sanchez sucking. Rex brought Tom Moore in to work with him and nothing. Most times the QB just stops developing

See hole run through. Block man. RB is a caveman position compared to QB. Very primitive. QB knowledge is power. Josh has IT.

I keep thinking of Brett Favre preparing to take the Wonderlic.

"You think they'll get mad if I draw a dick and some boobs on there?"

He improved in the red zone, yes. But he still was the Mark we all knew. Nothing changed.

Are we looking for football players or astronauts? Stop with the Wonderlic.

Intelligence matters in football, especially if you play QB. It's not the be all end all, but it does make a difference. It doesn't always translate to their game if they lack talent, but I'd rather have a smart guy than a dumbass when it comes to facing a tough defense. Wonderlic test is all about quick thinking.

The dumbest Jet in recent history was Sheldon Richardson and he scored a 9. No surprise he was responsible for so many penalties and other immature BS on and off the field (including that phantom time out against green bay, the 4th and 1 offsides penalty with the playoffs on the line against the Bills, etc). I can't find Robby Anderson's score anywhere. I'd be interested in that.

How you can call those who support Mayfield "fan boys", while not accepting that same title for yourself and the other Allen supporters is a mystery.

Except to the 32 teams in the NFL who use it to make decisions on who to hire, right?

I suppose so...instead of using the Wonderlic they could have much better results by just hiring you.

Actually, do we know if any teams utilize a psychiatric evaluator or any other professional to evaluate the draftees' mental profiles?
