Was just thinking this. I never thought I’d be happy that a member of the Johnson family is so heavily involved.

 

They probably realized he was using the Jets as leverage and had no intentions of coming here..don't fool yourself into thinking they didn't want him.

 

McClendon is very underrated or even unknown by some fans.

 

Jets recinded there off to Suh probably just using us Suck. Happy guys. Now where the hell are we gonna get a lineman

 

Haha..and it was the owner who told a group of reporters that they had...Jets must have been seriously pissed once they realized he was using them.

 

I hope Woody never comes back.

 

I had a feeling we were being used ... would have been fun to watch .

Well imo this sucks.

Mathieu & Suh were two defensive FA's in which i really got my hopes up for.

With all this cap space. Could you have imagined both? Good Lord would our 2018 defense have been vicious.

I would have loved Mathieu alongside of Adams, Maye & Johnson but he goes to Houston instead & then (just now) our owner pulls the plug on Suh coming to NY.

Suh is a player who i would've loved seeing lineup alongside of Leonard Williams.

Oh well.

True. Seems like the reason we pulled the plug on going after Suh, was due to Suh himself not wanting to schedule a visit. So we save face & remove the offer. Embarrassing.

I always thought getting Suh was more of a luxury. Yeah it would be nice, but what's the point when you don't even know the status of the offense or where the team will be at this point next year. We know they aren't going on a super bowl run this year. That's a move you make to put the team over the top after it is already moving in a positive direction. Apparently, the offer the Jets gave Suh had a deadline, and the deadline expired. Blessing in disguise, IMO.

 

Chris Johnson meddling and nixing the Suh signing reeks of Hess vetoing the drafting of Sapp.

Suh is an unblockable terror. I don't care if he's a punk. He can play. Suh + Leonard Williams would've been impossible to deal with. Harrison is gone. Wilkerson quit playing. We needed him.

 

And I spit out my beer. Lol. Pretty interesting development. Owner announcing an offer being rescinded is not common. I wonder how things happened.

 

Probably didn't like that their offer went public.

 

I love this move .It was obvious that he was using them to up his other offers .Fuck him.

 

The offer expired. Plus I am sure Suh was using the Jets

 

The Jets are just a fire hydrant for superstar phonies like Capt Kirk and Aunt Sue to take a piss on and hope it produces money from someplace else
