Yeah my bad with all this talk about Allen I looped Mayfield into another group. I would rather have Jackson over Allen too. Mayfield should be our pick if Darnold and Rosen are gone.

Ask Rock I'm sure he'll tell you. I guees that stellar senior bowl performance sold it for him.

    LMAO..great post

    Who was Kelso???

I heard on a NFL radio in a interview with Team doctor from Combine that it's the SEVERITY of cnvussion that would be a red flag for signing him..apparently Rosen accumulates concussions but they are not severe ones

My head is scrambled from ALL this evaluation and scrutiny..sheesh

I can just imagine the pressure on GMs with about a month away from this draft...hopefully a historic one for the Jets

I have to say everyone here DOES their HW on QBs so I am really torn between the talking heads analysis eg Brooks and Jeremiah, Mayock who all have Josh Allen ranked ahead of Mayfield for sure and in some cases J Rosen! ..then there is TGG with strong opinions all over.

Can Cleveland and Especially the Giants do us a favor? Leave Rosen vs Mayfield vs Allen?...to the Jets to decide on

This is going to be a very skillful decision..I hope

We will not know if we failed until whoever the QB we take is on the field for at least 2-3 seasons. I don't trust this regime to make the correct decision, but I will remain hopeful, because without hope, there's no reason to watch.

The feeding Frenzy isn't just at 2. it's down the board. The Giants can simply sit there and make a calculated decision that there will be a run on QBs and to move back on the board. Not saying they will, they very well may not, but it's really quite possible if you look at who is picking.

The giants also are in a semi-rebuild. They need draft picks. They are 100% not eyeballing 2018 to win, despite bringing Eli back. Trading back will give them an arsenal.

He's also won out hearts with his, you know, strong throwing arm and uncanny accuracy.

I think they believe they can win in 2018, their O was destroyed but injuries. Bring those players back along with a OL & Barkley and they're probably right.

Good for you. Being sarcastic really helps sell your toy QBs chance of becoming a full sized QB

I think a lot of people have made their arguments (myself included) for why Mayfield would be a great pick. The simple fact is you disagree and that is where the conversation dies. No need to force a conversation when there isn't one to be had.

Not entirely true, not that I really care. Brooks has Baker and Lamar ahead of Allen. Jeremiah just Baker.
Only Mike Mycock has Allen 2nd. He loves to show everybody how smart he is tho. He's good tho

It changes. It could change again

Actually the simple fact I've made is I understand why either could be the pick. But that gets a few of the Mayfield fans twisted and looking for an argument. The rest is purely for entertainment

So his draft stock can go down and the guy you want may get picked before we pick.

    Brilliant.

Rosen, Mayfield or Darnold will be there when we pick. I am fine with any of them.

You should want Allen to be a high pick to make sure one of either Darnold of Rosen are available, Mayfield is a big step down.

Update: Brooks Mock 3.0, has Mayfield as the last QB, going to the Cards at 15
