Which QB do you want the Jets to Draft #3?

Darnold is the best of the group and is only going to get better. I am surprised he is 3rd in the Poll. I assume it is because fans don't think he will realistically be on the board? I can't imagine him being available and the Jets taking Rosen or Mayfield instead.

Having said that, I am cool with all 4 as I have said for months.

 

If Barkley falls to us somehow can we pass on him?

 

As I have been writing for months now, I want Rosen. I think he's easily the best pure passer in the draft. He's got Marino/Manning potential, in terms of raw passing ability.

Honestly, I'd be thrilled with any one of Darnold, Rosen, or Mayfield. If the Jets draft Allen, I'll be disappointed, but cognizant of the fact that I could be wrong about him.

They had better! You don't trade up for a RB, when you could draft a solid one in round 2. If they really don't trust the QB that falls to them, they should trade back down on draft night and get a higher return than they initially gave up to move to #3.

 

Folks are leery of USC Qb's..

 

I said Rosen 6+ months ago so I'm sticking with it now.

Good question, but extremely unlikely that we will get to find out.

 

Probably Darnold, only because he doesn't have the concussion concerns that Rosen does. I think Rosen will be the best rookie QB. Its his long term that worries me more than the others.

Giants take Allen as they go for the full on upside - allows Eli to play another year
Jets take Rosen

 

I would be happy with Darnold or Rosen.

 

Agreed, Eli would be the best mentor for Allen.

Rosen, can't stop thinking of the UCLA v Texas A&M comeback... you had me at fake spike.

 

It would make for one hell of a training camp for the Jets. Bridgewater, a guy that has something to prove vs Josh Rosen who is the upstart. McCown, just like last year would get the least amount of reps and is the litmus test for both QBs. He will also serve as the QB coach.

If we got Rosen, I don't think I would ever be this excited to have a QB in my entire fan tenure.

 

It's definitely going to be exciting going into next season. Can't wait until the first day of the draft.

 

Darnold if he's still there. He won't be, though, so it has to be Rosen.

 

I think Darnold is the least likely to be available at 3, can see any of the others being available. If he does somehow get past both the Browns and Giants it would be an easy decision. I like Rosen enough though that if somehow both Darnold & Rosen are available and the Jets took Rosen I wouldn’t be disappointed.
