Congrats on signing Teddy, you win,t regret it. You may have just gotten the steal of the Century in free agency. I know you signed Teddy to be a bridge for a year, but I bet you have a hard time not wanting to keep him longer-lol.

Cousins was never as good as Cousins until he was as good as Cousins.

the more I look at the Bridgewater signing (on top of the signing of Josh) the more confusing I find it given we are 99.99% likely to be drafting a QB in the first round which means that they will be expected to start if not this year then next year (just the way it is in the modern NFL)

Whose expectation is it that the rookie will start this year?

A tackling dummy would have been an upgrade over McCown and much cheaper.

Its not like they were competing for his services. They could have waited until Sept. and really low balled him. All he's gonna do anyway is sit out the preseason like last year. Let the kids play. McCown will take the Jets nowhere.

lol he threw for 2,926 in only what, 12 games last year?
He was on pace for 4k.....while having a 94.5 rating and 2:1 TD:INT ratio.
That's pretty damn good, and put him in top 15 starting QB company last season.

He played 13 games. So you saying in 3 more games he was going to throw for 1000 yards. We are talking McCown right?

More likely to another 5-11 season with 8-8 being the high side.

How can anyone wonder why we signed 2 qb’s after what happened to the eagles this year Teddy is gonna be our starter this year. I hope I never see josh behind center. This is gonna be the best free agent signing in the nfl. We are gonna have 2 excellent qb’s at once. This site will be arguing about who should start, Teddy or our third pick. I HOPE!!!!

Unless they think Allen is the next messiah, but they want to sit him for a season or two.

They might think he has so much potential but that he needs to be groomed. Mac and Bowles will lobby for another extension because their big piece in Allen is finally ready to start in his 3rd year.

I got a question about bridgewater. Isn’t he completely healthy and ready to compete with no restrictions? I mean he appeared in a game last year because his rehab was done. Someone confirm please not guess

I sure hope you're right. That I can live with. They should have played Hackenberg last year at some point. McCown does nothing for this team.

McCown was the least of our problems last year. It was low IQ Turd Bowles against underachieving with the defense.

I meant no slight to Mccown fellas. He was wonderful last year but I know his ceiling. Teddy could be a very good qb if he stays healthy. Like the potential and he could allow the young kid sometime to learn. Sanchez was ruined because he started year 1. Ask Aaron Rodgers how it helped him
