There seems to be a lot of conflicting choices. Let's see which QB is the favorite pick at #3. I like Rosen too but his concussions problem really turns me off. I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up out of the league in 3 years. I believe his father is a neurological surgeon and he might help His decision not to mention it has been said he doesn't love the Game of football like expected from a NFL player
Mayfield is 1a and Rosen is 1b for me. Darnold comes next. The thing is I will be thrilled with all 3 of them.
The great news is we are going to have the choice between 2!!! Possibly 3, depending on what Giants do. I'm by nature being a long-time Jets, or just being a fan of this organization, pretty negative, but I'm so excited this year, to finally get a REAL QB!!
If it weren't for Rosen's concussion history, he would be my top choice. Give me Mayfield and I think Mac has put himself in the best position to finally find that ever elusive FQB.
After watching these guys pretty much nonstop since the trade I think I can finally rank them. Darnold Mayfield Rosen Allen Don’t think we can go wrong unless we don’t take a QB. I can see why Mac was comfortable enough to settle for #3 because the top is so bunched together. Mayfield and Rosen in particular are so, so close but it comes down to which play style you prefer and I like Mayfield’s ability to extend plays. I’m sure this list will change over the next 5 weeks though haha.
I agree with you on that list, but I get the feeling Mac may decide he likes Josh Allen. I really hope that isn't the case.
Baker Allen Darnold Lamar I like but he’s not in play anymore Rosen is a huge risk to me...he’s a top prospect but there’s a pretty good chance to me he retires early. Concussion issues + talk of him not loving the game + family has money makes me worried. Who wants to have to worry constantly about him taking one big hit and it being the last?
I'm sure it won't stay this way but as of now it's 24 votes and 0 for Allen. I'm 1) Mayfield 2) Rosen 3) Darnold I'd be happy with any of them really. Allen I wouldn't be despondent over but it's still not the QB to be betting the farm over.
Is he obsessive though? Does he obsessively love football? I really don't know but there are question marks being raised about that.
You don’t wake up one morning with perfect mechanics. To me, the fact that he’s so fundamentally solid is a strong indicator that he loves football and works extremely hard at it.
