Fuck Allen. There should be just two tick-boxes on our QB evaluation form. 1. Has QB played against quality opposition. 2. Is QB completion better than 60% If we go with another rookie QB with a Hackenberg-esque completion percentage then we deserve everything we get. I don't give a shit if said rookie QB has a strong arm unless we plan on being so bad that we need to throw hail marys in the first quarter.

I can't imagine him doing that. I also can't get over the fact that Mayfield and Rosen both just had their pro days. This can't be just coincidence right? Jets must have left those two pro days thinking to themselves "if we can get either one of these guys". I will be sick if we take Allen.
Agreed on all points. I don't know how you walk away from Rosen / Mayfield pro days with the thought "wow, I really like Josh Allen, let me trade up".
That's what I kept telling myself when I was driving in the car just a bit ago. If you were this enamored with Allen...the timing just doesn't seem quite right.

for me its rosen or bust. i will be very annoyed if we take anyone other than rosen. i think that all the other 3 are far less of a qb than he is. but hey what do i know. rosen isnt perfect but his potential is far better than the rest. i have no interest in allen, big arms with no accuracy and no reading ability make for big ints. baker mayfields game will not translate to this level and darnold is another guy who made lots of really bad decisions this year. he should have stayed another year but someone will draft him off of 2 years ago and how he performed at times this year. and they will pay the price for that.
You don't trade to 3 to take a RB when you have no QB's on the roster. This move was made with the intent of taking one of 3 QB's
I think this is very obviously Darnold, Rosen & Mayfield, I would think they believe Darnold will be gone. It would not surprise me if Baker is their top target as he is the one that is almost a guarantee to be available at 3. I’m not as down on Allen as some of you guys but Jets just can’t take him over one of the other 3 which is now a guarantee.
The NFL community likes Allen way more than fans do for whatever reason I like him 2nd best of the QBs (behind Mayfield) and then Darnold 3rd Going to be funny when all of these Jets fans that love trading away valuable assets for the chance to move up 3 damn spots realize we just drafted Josh Allen
