Mac attended Rosen and Mayfield’s pro days on back to back days and immediately traded up. Have to imagine he’s assuming Darnold goes #1 and is content with either at 3. Or, he could use next year’s 1 (which he thankfully didn’t need to give up) to move up again. I’m fucking giddy.

This doesn’t make sense to me - at least one of the four QBs (or Saquon) was basically guaranteed to be there at 6, but nobody seems to know in which order they’re gonna go. Why not wait to see how the board shakes out and then move up if you need to on draft day? How can they ensure the QB they’re targeting will be there at 3 when nobody knows what the Browns or Giants will do?
Good thing we filled all of our holes with free agents (or did we?). So do we take Chubb, Barkley, or Nelson?
I hope Rosen drops to 3, but regardless great job by Mac to secure a trade, but not a BACK BREAKING trade up. You will have either Mayfield or Rosen. It hasn't hit me yet. We need to get some more weapons in FA.

3 2nds in a draft without a definitive #1 qb. Sorry guys, but Im not feeling this. Just because we haven't done well in the 2nd round in the past, doesn't mean the pick isn't valuable
Great move if they pick the right QB. The Jets have a lot of needs tho, and gave up 3 picks where impact players can usually be found.
THANK YOU. The only way this bites us in the ass is if someone trades up ahead of us. It’s a shame we had to win so many games. Without going so crazy against the chiefs and without Powell’s freak 75 yard run, we would have the 3rd pick and all those 2nd rounders. But in reality, all we are giving up to do this is our 2nd this year and our 2nd next year. That Richardson trade was insane. He would have walked this year and in reality we shouldn’t even have that second 2018 2nd rounder.
