Is that Justin Miller in your avatar? If so, I loved that guy. My brother and I use to always shout out, "It's Miller Time!" when he was back to return. For anyone who doesn't remember, that was back when that was Miller's catch phrase.
Is your butt constantly chaffed and sore from being a fan of the New York Jets? Try preparation H...it will take care of you when plans A, B, C, D, E, F, and G are poking the inside of your anus.
I agree most bad or mediocre players made the best coaches. Are we labeling Doug Pederson a great coach already? How bout the nerds that never played like Bellicheck? Or the great players that stunk like Art Shell. Sometimes the stars align and there is no rhyme or reason to explain it. Some do with with shear will like Lombardi, Landry, Paul Brown and Bill Walsh. Those are great coaches.
Cousins is not a HOF caliber QB and in any event we offered him more than anyone else (apparently) but he opted to play for a SB ready team - can't really complain about the FO because someone chose to sign elsewhere
"Those that can, do. Those that can't teach (coach)". I've seen that to be pretty true over the years.
Absolutely nothing. The Jets need to develop young players and keep an eye of the players that don't make the 56 man rosters. The Jets are not going to get out of this funk hiring expensive free agents. If they sign any free agents, I want to see players that can fill the bottom portion of the roster, not the top! How about having a deep bench? Build the team from the bottom up. Look for players who offer good value like warren Buffet looks for value stocks. This should be the plan!
This roster is going to change a lot before the season starts... i'm going to take the wait and see approach .
Tyrann was a nice idea but not a need. I'm not sweating him going elsewhere. I just wanna know where the pass rushing is gonna come from. Not much on the FA market and I'm not seeing much draft wise either. I kinda like the kid outta Oklahoma (Okoronkwo) but he's not really even a 1st rounder to me. Kinda worries me.
Cleveland can do that, Arizona can too..You are talking about a NY team who hasn't won in 50 years..the 10 year plan just flat out won't work here. At least Tannehill knew that and always had competitive teams on the field even if they only got close 2 or 3 times. Nobody is going to care about the future if they win now.
I'm glad he signed somewhere else. But hey we can have another shot at him in 3 years. He'll push McCown to back up.
