Man, is there any team action you won't rationalize?

Do you know what i mean about dogs and spots now?

    You're shameless.

Yet another moronic post. There’s plenty I don’t like that the team does. See: Bridgewater, Teddy.

Don't know about a smokescreen but I think he'd be a great pick at 6 if most mocks are accurate leaving Rosen for us.

Ah yes, you always have one or two things you can point to to prove you're not a shameless homer.

    Forgot that about you.

Omfg if we take Rosen I am going to get some friends to dress up like cops and take a picture like they're arresting me for my awesome rap album, but if my belly looks too fat I'll photoshop it.

Dumb post after dumb post. It’s almost like there are things I don’t like about the team and I’m not a homer...

You know that if you were innocent, you probably would have quit before this, right?

    Spots.

The other strong possibility is that veteran players have finally figured out how to deal with the 2011 CBA, which disempowered 99% of the players in the NFL by capping rookie deals AND making vets on their second contract vulnerable to being replaced at will by a cheap rookie.

Signing a 4 or 5 year deal on the 2nd contract didn't mean a lot because you were only going to see a couple of years of the payout before you went on the bubble. This assuming that you were not in the 1% of NFL players who are clear stars or better.

Going year to year when the only multi-year deals a second tier free agent will get are back-loaded anyway makes more sense because they're a free agent at the start of free agency the next year instead of potentially being dumped at the wrong time, when the money has already gone.

We're not hearing much about Tyrann Mathieu right now because a large chunk of the nut available to free agents was committed to them before he became available. He and his reps are going to have to choose between a bigger deal with a weaker team and a shorter deal with a better team. He'd have gotten big money if he was available over the weekend but he will be lucky to get half of that at this point in free agency.

1 yr deals are usually in the team's favor. Players always want a long term deal with loads of guaranteed $ up front. Players really don't like changing teams/cities.

Macc has a new cap guy (forget his name) who's supposed to be excellent getting team friendly deals. Any team that's building through the draft is really only looking for a year (2 at the most) from pricey FAs. These guys Macc is bringing in on short deals are probably they guys Macc will replace with young draft guys soon.

    The back end looking nasty!

We need a pass rush now.

We're set at CB. Don't see them going Minkah Fitzpatrick now with our first pick. It's absolutely going to be QB

Not when we need a QB. We're not passing on any of the Rosen/Darnold/Mayfleld/Allen for Chubb

Fool please. Minkah is the second best player in this draft.

Comparing players across positions is kind of useless. It's a QB driven league and their are 4 QB's who will have an overall bigger impact that Fitzpatrick. Minkah doesn't make much sense for us anymore with Claiborne/Johnson

I know so. If circumstances were different I'd be all for Chubb, but we don't have prime Brees/Rodgers/Brady under center here.

He is a transcendant player. That always trumps a need.

This is a point guys like you will never understand, because you are mentally limited.

We've had this discussion already. You know I wasn't saying to draft Chubb too just from the content in this thread. Nor did I say anything about passing anybody for him. You know who I want already

But again, just because you're saying it doesn't mean shit. You've said it enough. Let's see what happens. I know one thing, if they don't draft a QB at 6 or above you're gonna go crazy on here preaching. I'm not.
