Long range projection says hi about 35 most cloudy & winds 10 MPH. We better come ready with our A+ run game for the 2 qtrs we will be going against the wind
I was worried about the shock of going to such a cold climate. However here in Vancouver we got a foot of snow and unseasonable 20 degrees (-7 Celcuis) today. Usually we're in the 50's at this time of year. I'll be used to it by Sunday.
We should hope he doesn't play actually. Rodgers is out for the season allready. I'd rather have the 3rd string QB. Who is he even?
Ingle Martin has been the 3rd string all year. (Late round draft pick this year) They signed Bouman since the rookie clearly isn't ready to play. Bouman is a bum.
The way we're playing D, we'll pick off Favre about 5 times. For all the bitching about Chad, how'd you like to be a Green Bay fan? He's set that franchise back about 5 years and I bet he didn't take a pay cut to do it.
Brett Favre is enjoying a resurgence. I don't know why people knock him so hard. He played all last year with NO ONE. A sixth-string RB is worse than us. When he has people around him ready to play, he still elevates the level of the guys around him. I'm looking forward to watching him beat the snot out of the Seahawks tonight. I don't want that to carry over though. That cold weather scares me though. Granted, GB is not as good at home now as they've been in recent years, but I think they are still undefeated with Favre when the temprature drops below 36 aren't they?
I don't like this game , GB has played respectable the last few weeks and I don't trust the running game enough to rely on them. Although 10 mPH wind is a breeze compared to the crap our guys play in at home. Now I may be wrong about this but Brett Farve has never beaten the Jets.... junc knows the answer but I'm positive that's the case.
Is losing at home to the Patriots 35-0 respectable? The Packers will most likely lose tonight too in Seattle. So while the Jets are begining to the think about Green Bay, the Packers still have a game to play.
I like our chances in Green Bay and the weather will be what it will be for both teams. Our DEF will get to Favre and pretty much keep him off-balance all day while our Offense is clicking pretty good, especially LC and JC. Penny's forte' is the short pass, so I don't think the wind effects us all that much, not any more than it will Favre's passes. It's a short week for them to prepare for us, too.
Favre was the QB in 1994 when they beat us at Green Bay, I remember it was a reasonably close game, middle of the year. That was during our 6-5 start under Pete Carroll before the collapse of the franchise. Safe to say he was a much better QB then than now, and had a much better team around him. PS--junc don't know shit. j/k, junc. Love ya man.
If I'm not mistaken, we had a 4th and 1 on the final drive and threw a 1/2 yard out to Rob Moore in the flat to come up short. That might have been the Indy game, they were one right after the other.
Favre has hardly been the turnover machine he was last year. He threw 29 picks in 607 attempts and this year he's thrown 7 in 367 attempts. He actually has one of the lowest INT %'s in the NFL this year, he's tied for 6th, just behind guys like Peyton Manning. I think the Jets will win regardless of who is at QB for the Packers but I'd certainly feel alot more confident if it was Bouman.
