    If Cousins gets here you will get your 2 Seasons of 9-7 and NO playoffs plus an extension for Toilet Bowles and Mac
    We will see who is laughing then.

    Yep, Cousins will get here and TB will ultimately fire Bates..Jets stuck with another enormous Contract to an aging QB who is ranked 16 th in the League..Just like Mevi$ Mo Wilk and Fitz

    Everyone running after D Brees and hurling outrageous sums of money at HIM is something I clearly get

    If Bree's came to the Jets and we drafted Mayfield you would have a perfect set up for success

    But the return on your investment for Kirk C who is like a 16th ranked QB with NO playofff wins and hardly any wins against GOOD teams makes little sense to me..without a a STRONG supporting cast Cousins can't carry a Team..and after 90 plus million on him will it be worth it ? and better spent elsewhere

    Draft a QB and get it right

    I agree, I have never been all that excited with Cousins but the bigger scare is that we lose Cousins and all of the top 4 QBs in the draft and that is the way it is looking now.

    Looks like Denver rolling with Keenum and will probably draft a QB at 5 as well.

    If we do land Kirk they better get some players to surround him with!

    That's still his 5th year, not exactly a 3 year deal as you stated.
    His 5 the year option was picked up a while ago, and he has since signed anew long term deal.

    Unless Brook decides to merge the fire Mac for missing on Cousins/ fire Mac for signing Cousins thread into this one.
    Then we can look forward to the I told you Cousins sucks/ is a FQB depending on his seasons success...o_O

    I want a rookie QB but I won't mind Kirk. So I wrote a poem for Kirk. He will definitely sign with the Jets after seeing this.

    Brees off the market, the Vikings might of screwed themselves out of Kirk by showing interest in Drew.

    Jets have shown Kirk the most commitment and the most money most likely.
