What I like about Jackson is that he can create some amazing things out of nothing. If for whatever reason we don't get Cousins and wind up taking BPA at 6 (Ward from Ohio State I am 100% good with), I wouldn't mind trading back into the first round to get Jackson on the back end.

He’s the most accurate thrower in the draft

Mayfield has a really live arm. His arm strength is much better than I thought. He is also accurate and scans the field well. I think he is right in line with Rosen and Darnold. I would have him just slightly behind them. Jackson isn't accurate enough now. If you watched them at the combine you could really see his talent. Rudolph to me didn't look that great in comparison and Jackson needs work on his throwing mechanics. Mayfield could be a Drew Brees kind of player with a stronger arm. I would sign up for that in a heart beat.

I think 92M is more accurate. Spotrac usually does a good job and that is their number and here is the breakdown.

I don't put too much stock in the combine, I think game film is much more important. Mayfield hasn't shown any NFL throws really. hell even his highlight clips are really unimpressive. he just looks like he lacks talent

This quote serves as evidence you haven't actually watched any game film. Certainly not of Mayfields.

I agree on Cousins and drafting a QB at #6. Hell no to Keenum.

You have no clue what you're talking about. You obviously have never seen Mayfield play and have done no research on him, either.

How can anyone that has watched Baker Mayfield say he has no talent? I could understand if someone said his talent won’t translate to the NFL, I would strongly disagree but it would at least make some sense.

Allen is the least talented player. He shouldn't even be in the first round discussion. Mayfiled is pretty good its just that he's shorter than what you want or think you need in a QB. I know everyone says "well what about Drew Brees". Brees for sure is the exception. Does not mean Mayfield can't be the same. But the kid got talent and outside of Rosen is the most accurate.

OTC's number, the $89,879,171, generally includes the dead money and carry over.

    New Salary Cap: $177,200,000
Total Cap Liability: -$104,839,473 (Active Cap $89,481,136+Dead Money $13,918,337+3 players over the top 51 cut off @$480,000 each)
    2017 Carryover: +$17,300,000
    Net Cap Space: $89,660,527

Off a little from what OTC shows but I believe that is the number right now.

Personally, my favorite 2 QB's this draft are Jackson and mayfield. Not sold on the top 3.

Good with the Jets drafting either, resign mckown, load up on o-line in free agency and hope for the best.

I agree. The knocks on Mayfield are that he may take some time to develop and that he's cocky as hell. He's very accurate, and it's not like he can't throw deep. He just won't be dropping 80 yard bombs like Allen (which will probably be off target or picked off in most situations anyways).

Don't forget Russell Wilson. Brees and Wilson are both shorter than Mayfield. Wilson's only 5'11. Short QBs can definitely succeed. I agree about Allen.

    Ditto :)

I've seen plenty of mayfield, his film is very medoicre and nothing shows "NFL QB"
