Appreciate your service past 2 years sir. Class act on a player. And a fantasy football stud for a long time. Helped me win my 'ship few years ago.

Loved him as a Bear. Couldn't stand him as a Jet. And not all his fault either.

Either way, he needed to go.

No offense to the guy, but I'm glad he made the choice to. I don't trust Mac enough that he wouldn't have brought him back.

    He had a great career.

A class act. He was a good Jet and I wish him the best in the next phase of his life.

Forte was a good RB, unfortunately the jets utilized him poorly and instead of being a feature back, he should have been more of a pass catching RB.

Nonetheless, appreciate his service here and hopefully his retirement treats him well.

McFadden had the most hype out of any RB in that draft class, but Forte had the more productive career. He was obviously at the tail end of his career when he played for the Jets, but he was a professional for gang green. Hope he enjoys a nice post football life.

Facts. Wish him nothing but the best in his post-NFL life. But I am glad he won't be an RB on this team next season.

great guy and great player for a long time. glad he is leaving on his terms. even if he was past his prime as a jet, he was a top 5 RB in the NFL for a long time with the bears

Was fun to watch while in Chicago.

Made me grind my teeth here.

Glad he's gone. Wish him nothing but the best.

Loving the way the dominos are falling so far. Forte knew it was time to go and he did it on his terms. Better than getting cut.

He was past his prime when he got here. The Matt Forte that played in Chicago was a quantum leap in quality over the Matt Forte that played here. Maybe Macc should have known better. Bad Timing...
