Joe Flacco is the most overrated QB in the NFL. If Rosen is going to become like him, I don't want him.

The closest way Rosen is similar to Flacco...they are both somewhat injury prone. Not much else though....I hope.

Looks like Jax is out of the QB market.

jags extended bortles through 2020. that should effectively take them out of the running.

Probably an elaborate smoke screen so they can trade ahead of us and take whichever QB you want for us.

Adam Schefter usually reports pretty solid information. They were kinda screwed anyways regarding signing cousins because of the bortles injury.

Bortles news is good for the Jets. Now hopefully the Vikings franchise Keenum. If so, it comes down to the Jets and Broncos and I truly like the Jets chances if that happens. Has anyone said if the Cardinals are in the Cousins mix? He could potentially go there. I don't know their cap situation though.

I'm really interested in seeing the final #s. Lower hit likely for this year.
They we're stuck, it's 10 week minimum recovery and his surgery was only about 6 -7 weeks before his guarantee was due.

So one team down a few more to go.

Cleveland, Denver, Minnesota, New York as realistic landing spots.

He’s the most overpaid not most overrated! Joe Flacco is a top 15 QB in the NFL and has a ring. If everyone thinks Rosen is better than they need a reality check.... they are pretty much clones of each other...

Flacco is not a top 15 QB. Almost every year he's a bottom 10 QB, and the last time he was even average was 2014. All he has going for him is the SB ring and a winning record. But take him off the Ravens and he'd be a losing QB without a SB. If he got drafted by the Browns or Redskins, I don't even think he'd be a starter anymore.

    Bortal deal for real
1 down 3 to go (browns, vikings, Broncos)

    http://www.espn.com/nfl/team/_/name/jax/jacksonville-jaguars

If Jaguars QB Blake Bortles hits the incentives in his impending new deal it'll be worth $22.2 million annually. The three-year extension is worth $54 million and up to $66.5 million with those incentives. Without the incentives, the deal averages $18 million annually. That puts him just behind Miami's Ryan Tannehill ($19.25 million) in terms of average salary in 2018. For reference, Jimmy Garoppolo has the highest APY at $27.5 million. Tom Brady, by the way, has an APY of $15 million.

I think the cards are not in the running for cousins due to low cap space 22 mil and I think they need it to sign some of there players. I guess the could clear cap space, but All the shows I watch about the NFL not one talk about the cardinals being in the race for cousin.

I would be upset if Cousins doesn't end up with the Jets, but in that case, I would want him to go to either the Broncos or Browns. If he goes to the Vikings then both teams in front of us still need QBs which hurts our shot at getting our guy.

If the Browns somehow sign Cousins, I can't even imagine what would happen with their 1st and 4th overall picks. I assume they'd trade with somebody who wants a QB, but who knows with them? I don't see that happening though. Should be between the Jets and Broncos. I really think the Vikings will re-sign Keenum and Bridgewater and let the best QB start. Only a couple more weeks to find out!

I think the Cardinals should try to trade for Eli Manning. Jax seemed like a potential spot for him but not anymore.
The Giants could go QB, and with the cards pick go OL, and still Michel or Penney. Going to be an interesting few weeks coming up

Not trying to compare. Simply saying that in this draft there are many highly regarded QB prospects. Easily as good a crop as 2004 and maybe as good as 1983. One of them could be the next Manning/Brady/Favre; or even the next Roethlisberger/Rodgers/E. Manning (I would settle for that) and that's how I would like the Jets to approach this draft.

I don't think the Vikings are really in the race for Cousins. Too many players due big money next year.
From a long term perspective, it comes down to the Jets and Broncos. The Broncos are slightly better as of today for 2018, but over a 2,3,4,5 year span the Jets are more attractive.
The only thing I could see keeping Cousins from the Jets, is a short , fully guaranteed contract from Denver, a 2 year deal $56-58 Million guaranteed. Maybe 3 years max. Gives him a shot at getting to a Super Bowl in 18, although slim, and he gets to hit free agency again and the $ will be even greater in 2020-21.
If nothing else, Cousin's has shown he is not afraid to gamble on himself.
