It's a shame. Gordon, Smoke, Carl, now Dale. Big blow.

 

Not surprised, every interview I've ever seen with him minus maybe one or two post-win interviews he just never seemed all that in love with racing, although maybe that's just his personality.

I know living in his father's shadow probably put a lot of pressure on him but being the richest and most popular driver in almost two decades probably made it a little easier.

 

Smoke retired two years too late.

Junior and Edwards retired too early.

 

I don't think it was too late. He just didn't have a very good team.

Kasey Kahne finally won a race.

 

Longest race ever. Felt really happy for Kasey though.

 

Truex has absolutely dominated this season.

 

It's getting damn tiring, like the Jimmie Johnson days.

 

Larson wins it after multiple cautions late causing restarts

he hit the jackpot with a slick move on the final restart

I've seen him lose seemingly countless times on restarts. I'm so happy he finally got one that wasn't his race to lose. Kind of makes up for some of the awful luck he's had losing races late.

 

He's won three consecutive races at Michigan.

Season over for me. 1 damn blown engine and that's it? Doesn't seem fair to me.

I guess now it's Go Chase.

If it couldn't be my driver, I'm glad it was him. Great underdog tale. Congrats to Truex, and Furniture Row.
