Timing is much better this time. The NFL is on the decline and they may be able to snag some big name college players by offering more money now with the nfl rookie cap in place. If they can figure out a way to not be liable for concussions maybe they'll even allow tackling without a flag. I hope they do this right. Please give us what the NFL used to be Vince.

If that's the case then they aren't going to be able to afford to poach big name college players. it will be similar to WWE - all the players in the league get a salary paid by McMahon's organization - for peanuts. he thinks the XFL failed because of the gimmicks but that's not true. The gimmicks are the only thing that attracted people to the XFL. It failed because it was sloppy, inferior football. By not bringing in outside investors, going at it alone without football people, and paying players peanuts, he is insuring it will be sloppy inferior football again

If there was room for more pro football then arena football would have caught on and gotten a TV contract. Pro football is over-exposed right now. There's too much of it and adding a parody league isn't going to fix that problem.
