I think he was fighting with his woman and took off in a a huff. Similar to Lee last summer when Leonard picked him up like a rag doll. These guys get to emotionally involved with dem bitches.

I wouldn't mind having both. Our receiving could use an explosive player like Robinson.

Jets would be practically uncoverable if that was the case. Imagine an offense with Enunwa, Robinson, Robby, ASJ, Saquon at 6 and Kirk Cousins as a free agent.

As far as keeping or cutting him, as yourself one question: What would Belicheck do?

He would have cut him most likely but the Jets do not have Belichek as the coach nor do we have the talent on offense to get rid of a player that young and cheap and productive.

I think Robby will serve his suspension (if he gets one) and will return. If he's arrested a 3rd time then all bets would be off IMO

Seriously guys. no reason to get rid of Anderson. we have him, enunwa, and if were lucky we can land a good FA WR as well. plus kearse, stewart, hanesen, maybe a rookie (st brown)

Yes, but he needs to know that he's one infraction away from getting cut and possibly out of the league for a year, if not longer.

I agree most teams would keep a young star WR no matter how much they embarrass the team. Just like the Giants with their spoiled brat. But I have to respect Belichecks willingness to cut seemingly critical role players for little or no (public) reason. And here he is in his 20th SB in the last 10 yrs ;). Belicheck hasn't had a 'high draft pic' in over 10 yrs, but somehow he keeps on winning.

If you can't beat 'em, join 'em. Or at least copy them!

Simple answer. Brady. Use enough scampering backs and wide receivers with good hands and a good O-line and he will get the ball to them. They even have a pretty rough D now. But their Offense and experience gets it all done.

Bowles wants them to run the ball more though.

    Don't forget Haynesworth.

Belichick can afford to take fliers on guys because he can watch his team for five minutes and know whether a guy is helping or hurting. The moment he's no longer a functioning cog, he's gone before he can take his helmet off. Think of the top-flight players Belichick cut loose when the sum of their parts -- talent, ego, salary, fit to scheme -- was deemed a net liability.

Our coach isn't watching the same game.

not at all but as a veteran presence u can only do so much and if the younger player continues to fuck up, u have to draw your line.

as a model veteran u just can't get sucked into these BS situations, after the tipping point.

He has taken them on but he has NOT tolerated them. They might have been problems in other places on other teams but they were model citizens OR GONE !

Were those players gone because they weren't model citizens or were they gone because they weren't good players anymore? I can't think of one guy that was still providing any sort of value that the Pats jettisoned because they were malcontents.

He's taken on a few but has a short leash. He also brought them Into a veteran locker room, big difference. Never mind that Moss was just selfish, Blount had an issue in college, Revis was never a head case, Hernandez never had an issue before the murder. The list isn't that long.
