he asked for suggestions, I was just throwing out names for fun ya smart ass. If you dislike Jets fans so much then feel free to look elsewhere for a team and forum. Ron Wolf is near death anyway? where did you hear that?
Indy has been to and won a SB (2010). As far as Houston goes, are you talking the Texans? They've hired offensive-minded HCs and could have their franchise QB. Oakland has a FQB, and an excellent GM. The Rams have a great young HC, a great team and a FQB. Minny has a great team. Tennessee has a FQB and a pretty good team. Bufffalo, Cincinnati, TB and Arizona are all more talented than we are. All the teams I've mentioned seem to have made some very good hires at GM, and some at HC.
Ok so you’re saying because these teams presently have better teams than the Jets they all have owners that are better? So was Woody better than each of these teams owners when the Jets had more talented teams and went to back to back championship games?
You were saying that they were all worse with absolutely no facts or proof to support your position. Since those teams have more talent, are more successful, and most of the ones I listed have FQBs, yes, I'd say their owners are better. They're either more knowledgeable or know their limitations, have made pretty good hires and then step back and let them do their jobs. Woody has no knowledge, makes bad hires, and refuses to step back and quit meddling. That's the trifecta. Some of the owners may be as bad as Woody, but none of them are worse. No way.
I never said Woody was better than anyone other than the Wilpons. I asked how he was worse than the owners from the teams I mentioned since the poster I responded to said Woody was second worst in all of sports and all the teams I’ve mentioned have had very little success or less success than the Jets since Woody has owned the team.
OMG NO! Casserly, Wolf, Macc? Perhaps if you took the best traits of all three in their respective primes and combined them.. Individually? Put a bullet in the lot of them.
Longtime Packers GM who just got replaced. I thought he was out of a job now, but his wiki page(not the most reliable source I know) says he's now senior advisor to football operations for the Packers so he's not available anyway.
Sounds like a good idea in theory, but he would just be the first guy in the line of fire when fans get fed up, lol. I would've been on board with the guy from KC being named president, and letting him clean house.
LOL ...But we can build the perfect GM, we have the technology. Johnson n Johnson, clinical trials LETS GO
Yes, I'd want a VP of Football Operations for strategic direction, considering the Johnson's have no strategic football aptitude. I would even consider a 2-3 person panel to fill that strategic role. But I would have both the GM and HC report directly to that VP/panel.
I wish you were Woody. Woody has no idea how much he has ruined the hope of Jets fans. His worst move ever was letting greedy Parcels talk him into being the GM over Bellicheck or we would have never lost Bellicheck and instead had at least a few super bowls wins. Please sell the team asshole. the Jets need all of its fans to boycott games until he sells the team. They are the biggest joke in the history of sports and it is sin that most of the Jets fans are apologists for inept ownership and GM and coach.
