One of these days, come hell or high water, Woody will make the right hiring choice. Woody will accidentally pull an "ANTI-IDZIK" where he finally essentially trips over a truly good HC and GM and the rest will be history. I am a rather negative guy when it comes to this team, but even I know eventually something divine will happen................
Where are they going? And if they go, I won't care what they do. I'll be gone and simply an NFL fan, or perhaps a Green Bay fan.
The league is so watered down right now, other than the Patriots of course. With the right moves made and a good draft, Jets could contend as soon as next season.
Nah I haven’t forgotten who the coach is. I’m not saying they will contend next year but to say they can’t before the offseason in which the Jets have 100 mil to spend is just not paying attention to how shitty the NFL presently is.
1 Get rid of Toilet Bowles at the very least...hire an Offensive Genius DeFillipo etc 2 Have the Owners put out a Mandate For Winning 3 The GM draft a quality QB this year...no retread QB besides McGown to tutor kid 4 Hire an OC who demands that Bowles let him do his thing...if Bowles is still the Coach These are the minimums to turn this thing around I can see #3 happening but that's it Otherwise:: 5 Fan Uprising...Boycott games till Owners go out of business ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I am no longer a young man and this waiting is entirely Too stressful..so my time may be done here That said... FLY EAGLES FLY!!
We're cursed. The owner is incompetent. It'll never happen. Why bother watching? Just about the same outcome every year. The Pats win. Play a game. Make you think they'll lose. Get a call or two their way. Out of nowhere win the game. No it's not fixed.
It's positively hopeless...and just a recurring nightmare at this stage. IDK what else to say anymore.. If you aren't emotionally attached or spiritually tattooed to this JOKE of a franchise..get out while you can...save yourslf decades worth of grief, wasted time & animosity
That's akin to the old proposition that if you had an infinite number of monkeys with typewriters, one of them will produce Shakespeare.
Wow, thank you so much for such an informative and enlightening post. The biggest problem with the Jets is the fanbase.
I feel the opposite watching Championship weekend. The Eagles looked like a mess with Chip Kelly, now they are in the Super Bowl a couple years later. The Jags were a joke, a couple years later they were 4 minutes from the Super Bowl. The Vikings had a 3rd string QB and lost Cook and still made it to the title game. And Brady is 40 and the Pats are losing their coordinators. Their time is coming to an end. The future could be bright for the Jets and possibly sooner than we think!
