If we signed any of those QBs, we'd end up drafting somebody as well. Bridgewater hasn't played in a full game in two years. Bradford is a good QB but he's never healthy. Keenum has had a great season, but is his success a one time thing?
If Case Keenum won the Super Bowl MVP, and then signed with the Jets, I think Mac wouldn't draft a quarterback. I think you would see Mac draft the same way he would if he got Cousins.
Hes not that good. Ive seen enough of cousins to no hes no ben, aaron or anything close Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
Give me Mason Rudolph in the second if the top guys are gone ... Keenum is a product of his environment that defense sets him up to succeed ...
I would bet against Keenum replicating his play this year. He's on a very good football team, much better than the Jets. If I was GM and signed a guy like Keenum I'd target a QB in the second.
SUSTAINABLE SUCCESS!!!!! That comes with drafting a franchise QB, not picking up some other team's QB. This is the best QB draft in ages AND we have a young team. Those two factors scream that you must take a QB with the first pick. Trade with the Colts and pick one of the top 3 QBs. It actually could be a blessing having a new coordinator. They could put in the offense to best fit the QB, not the coach.
tell that to NO. pretty sure picking up brees instead of drafting a QB was the best thing they done. since before him they drafted aaron brooks who was garbage. brees won them a SB and is a HOF QB how exactly did drafting sanchez help us out?
Tons, i live in the Philadelphia are and they play predominately NFC east games. I have to go online to watch jets games. No to mention EVERYONE in my family like NFC east teams so i am very familiar with ALL of their teams. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
I watched them all this year (sunday ticket) and many form the past 2 years as well. I was specifically watching cousins this year for a couple of reasons 1 because the jets may be able to get him and 2 he was on one of my fantasy teams. If you can't see cousins is easily a top tier QB in the NFL and has been over the past 3 years you just don't know football. It's much safer then a maybe QB in the draft. sure you can get the next big ben, you can also get the next brady quinn, RG3, tebow, manziel, losman, russel, young, sanchez, etc etc
I have 20/10 vision so my eyesight is pretty good. I know my shit when it comes to this game. He is not a great qb. He's an ok qb, not a franchise qb. That's why Washington hasn't signed him long term. His numbers look better than they should because he plays catch up a lot. Just like blake bortles, too many costly, timely ints and is more likely to choke your game away than win it. Way too many bonehead plays that his skills position and defense covered up. I dont need you opinion on him, I know what he is. The next overpaid qb in a league getting away from it. But the jets will sign him because thats a very jetty thing to do. When he falters, youll be saying, i never said wr should sign him Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
No I won't. It's clear you obviously didn't watch many redskins games of you didnt pick that up. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
Scot McCloughan may be a drunk but he knows a thing or two about football, certainly more than anyone here. He doesn’t see special in Cousins. This is pretty much my issue with Cousins cause whichever team that signs him will be paying him a contract that only special QBs should get. His numbers sure do look good but he does seem to play his worst the bigger the spotlight. I’d personally rather gamble for great rather than overpay for decent.
If they do go 1&2, why trade up? Indy picks at 3 they have Luck, Cleveland at 4 who already took a QB. I don't think Denver will take Baker.
Wasn't that the same knock on Elway and then Payton ? Can't win the big game, now they are talked about as two of the greatest to ever play the game.
