Blockchain is supposed to be decentralized with no one controlling them. That's why I raised an eyebrow at neo seeming to have China controlling it - although it's not specifically stated it seems that way.
The issue with NEO is that the NEO team runs most of the nodes giving them control. I suspect the NEO team is controlled by the Chinese government. For more info read about "51% attack". That doesn't mean it won't be a very valuable commodity or very good technology. I just find it very suspect. If the Chinese government wants everyone to use it - they will - and that could make it very valuable.
pick out certain things like "supposed to" and the over 50% agreement mentioned which you cite above. Then there's the original question of where the intrinsic value lies to begin with. QUOTE] That's a pretty good basic overview but the critical ear will pick out certain things like "supposed to" and the over 50% agreement mentioned which you cite above. Then there's the original question of where the intrinsic value lies to begin with. Whether the biggest problem in some of these projects results from their creation or later contamination or hijacking doesn't really matter but some will be epic failures for innocent people, it's just a matter of human nature and time.
In it's natural ecosystem the 51% attack is very difficult to achieve because you have many players interested in the network staying honest. When by default more than half of the NEO nodes are run by NEO - well - you're basically back to having a centralized currency controlled by whoever is in charge of NEO. It's not as pure of an implementation as I'd like to see. Skepticism is healthy.
Under $1000 is unlikely, but if it goes below $8k I would buy up as much as possible as soon as possible. I do agree if it falls below $10,000 it could free fall though.
Do you not realize what you said make absolutely no sense. $1000 unlikely $8000 buy up as much as possible Falls below $10000, could free fall If it gets to $8000 it would be below $10000 and according to you could free fall, but you recommend people buy as much as they can at $8000. If it is going to free fall why would you buy as much as possible at $8000?
IMO it is a great time to buy. Still could dip under 10k but it's likely to rebound bigly like it always does.
It does make sense, I said its unlikely it will go to $1000, if it falls past $10000 it could go to $9000, $8000, $7000, Im not sure where it would stop, HOWEVER I KNOW within time it will be back at $15k, $20k, etc, so any of those prices are an absolute bargain.
Any prices under 10k is a deal, especially 8,000, thats my number personally. We all know that is quickly as it rises, it can fall, and as quickly as it falls it can rise. It did go a little below $10,000 before but now is up $2k. Money isn't leaving, its just sitting there waiting for the perfect time to buy.
Bitconnect, the ponzi scheme is shutting down. They are giving people back BCC tokens, who would want that? Good news though.
