That would be a pretty awesome draft with the exception of Watts. The Jets don't need a FS. I told the numbnuts that run the site that, pointed out that the Jets have 5 safeties that they like and have zero need for either a FS or SS. Their response? To move it from the top priority to a lower priority, but still left it as a priority.

They also make no distinction between OLB prospects. IMO Evans is not an OLB prospect for the Jets. He's too light at 231.

Then they routinely have Sony Michel and Royce Freeman rated as 5th/6th round picks.

Getting Chubb, Mayfield, and Chubb would be amazing! It would totally revolutionize our offense, while adding the stud pass rusher we've been looking for for 10+ years. Baker is not a fit for the Jets, and would be worse than Lee. I'm not all that familiar with the rest except Samuels and Scarbrough. Those two would be excellent adds. Even if the rest were hot garbage, adding Chubb, Mayfield, Chubb, Samuels and Scarbrough would totally elevate this team into a playoff contender within a year.

IMO it's not that good a draft after Rosen and Love. I like Evans, but he only weighs 231. That's very light for a 3-4 OLB. The only other player I like in that draft is Ragnow.

Not sure of the formula but I have some thoughts that may help.

While it liked some of your individual picks each team has needs. Perhaps you failed to fill some holes and were punished for it. Also, it is possible that each pick gets a numerical grade that equates to each letter. In other words not all As are equal.

In an unusually for me I limited my trade downs. Traded down once in the first, once in the 2nd traded up in the 4th

All in all, I'd take this draft. I didn't get the high end OT I was looking for but Upgraded OG and OC, added one exceptional and one very good OLB. Added a solid TE and a pair of good receivers in Sutton for the Outside and Henderson as a slot receiver / scat back / return man.
Nnadi I really like as a DT.

didn't get any CB, or RB help. But did get what I consider to be an excellent OT project who with some seasoning could be an exceptional tackle..

Round 1 Pick 11 (MIA): Lamar Jackson, QB, Louisville (B+)
Round 2 Pick 5: Billy Price, C/OG, Ohio State (A)
Round 2 Pick 10 (MIA): Sam Hubbard, DE, Ohio State (A)
Round 2 Pick 17: Courtland Sutton, WR, Southern Methodist (A)
Round 3 Pick 8: Dallas Goedert, TE, South Dakota State (A-)
Round 3 Pick 18 (DET): Frank Ragnow, C/OG, Arkansas (B+)
Round 4 Pick 7: Uchenna Nwosu, OLB, Southern California (A)
Round 4 Pick 8 (T.B.): Derrick Nnadi, DT, Florida State (A+)
Round 5 Pick 16 (DET): Alex Cappa , OT, Humboldt State (C)
Round 6 Pick 5: Quadree Henderson, WR, Pittsburgh (A+)
Round 7 Pick 17: Anthony Winbush, OLB, Ball State (A-)

Rosen at 17? ha ha, when that happened I knew this was going to be a totally unrealistic draft so went crazy with the draft and traded both my first round picks from the future away...

    the Pluses.
got arguably the best QB in the draft in Rosen.
Traded a first round pick to get arguably the best, or top 3 CB's in the draft in Josh Jackson.
Traded another first round pick to get arguably the best, or top 3 anyway, OT's in the draft with McGlinchey.
Picked up arguably the best ILB in the draft with Roquan Smith.
Ragnow in the middle of the third is silly good value.
Isaiah Oliver, don't know why the game doesn't like him, I think he's a 2nd round pick personally, possibly bottom first.
I think Mahon is better than a 5th,s ame with Quadree Henderson and Bo Scarbourgh.

I kind of failed on my desire to upgrade OLB. but Eduminds, Frazier and Winbush are intriguing, but not fantastic choices but best I had open when I chose, my actual choices went a pick or two before I was able to take them...oh well.
I love what I did at WR and I actually love my OL upgrades, I think Cappa is highly under radar, raw but in a year or two could well be an elite LT or RT.

    How I grade my draft.

    QB A+
    RB B-
    WR B+
    OL A
    DL B
    LB A
    CB A+
    S incomplete
    TE Incomplete.

Sometimes I wish the real draft worked like this game.
