yea, nam is trending back to the gfs/euro. i think we are still in a 3" range. a jog west by just a few miles changes a lot. long island set to get buried. lucky bastards
I hope and think we can still move west,,,,,places like Charlestown was supposed to get 2 inches they got like 6 and then Raliegh NC is inland and they were supposed to get zero and they got 6 inches,,,What do u think about the start time around 2 am ? sooner ? And do you think the speed of the storm effects amounts, I mean slower I would think larger amounts but is it better it gets here sooner or not ? Still worried about it getting kicked east but latest guidance has it more west than it was supposed to be
start looks to be around 4 for us? 3 in nyc. @Greenday4537 should be seeing snow soon if he isn't already.
looking at the MT Holly Radar and unless that snow is NOT making it to the ground it should be snowing here shortly,,,,,,hmmmm
Don't look now but the UKIE just upped our totals------weather geeks are saying storm stays closer to the coast and is farther N n West also it might not get kicked out east very fast if at all,,,,,,,thoughts ?
Roads were covered by 11pm. Just walked the dog. A few inches already. Projections now up to 8-12". Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
just woke up to the phone call,,,schools closed but right now not snowing yet but radar says its coming soon-----> buckle up and lets see what happens !
Here in Fair Lawn NJ (Bergen County) I got up at 5 and was on my way to work by 5:30. No snow at all. Drove to Ramsey on dry black top roads. They say 3-5 expected in this area so I am sure the commute home will be fun.
Same here, school closed but nothing falling yet. Let’s keep the live updates going. The wind is going to be as much of the story as the snow today. Be safe everyone
Fjay,,,,,even though it was crunch time,,,,,,UKIE came in west last night,,,,,,we will see how this goes be safe all
Woke up at 430 to walk the dog and leave for work and nothing on the ground up in Westwood/hillsdale area. Started driving to work and now here in Hudson county by the Lincoln tunnel it’s coming down pretty good. Maybe an inch or so already
Well not the snow you guys are getting but in central Fl it was below freezing by 9pm last night and got down to a low of 26 this morning. Expecting more of the same tonight and tomorrow night.
My friend measured 6" a couple hours ago in his front yard. Convinced my wife driving to work wasn't worth the risk. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
Fjay I was up most of the night looking at models and radars and TV,,,it started here just after 6 a m,,,,,,not sure how much we have now but radar looks good
