Gonna try to go to the Packers game with my dad since he's a big Packers fan. Would be my first trip to Metlife.
look for the jets to sell us on 0-16 so that when we win 6 games next year half the buffoons will think we did something special.
Nah we need to make progress and go in the right direction..I'm thinking 7 wins gets a statue built for Bowles. lol
some one else post em but if you ask me schedule looks tough,,only easy possible games I saw were Browns and Colts Not sure whats home or away but the usual suspects in the East along with Denver, Houston ,Green Bay,Lions, Jax ,Vikings This is not gonna be easy but at least under Uncle Todd we know they will play hard , even if they don't win,lol
We get people saying the schedule is tougher every year (outside of 2015 when we knew it was pretty soft). We’re never gonna get 16 games against the Browns.
Interesting. They get to play all the teams (except the Giants) who are drafting ahead of them, and/or who may sign Cousins, and I think most of the teams who have FA QBs that the Jets could possibly sign. With the exception of KC (Mahomes) and Washington (Smith), we'll also get to play every team that took a QB high last year (Chicago & Houston), and another team that has a QB that some here coveted.
If Mac is actually doing his job and using the draft and FA correctly, this schedule shouldn't be hard. I see nine games against playoff teams from 2017 and that includes 4 division games against Buffalo and NE. This team should be much better in 2018 simply from FA let alone if Mac actually drafts well.
I thought our Thursday game is required to be against the Bills. At least it seems that way given the last three seasons.
That's a nice thought, but there are teams on the schedule who weren't playoff teams that have been in years past but weren't in 2017. Barring the injury bug hitting these teams again --- Houston, Green Bay --- the schedule will be equally as tough to last seasons, if not tougher, seeing as our hardest games are arguably at home and we haven't won against anyone on the road in the Bowles era, except of course Cleveland.
Way too early to be judging schedules. The Jets are going to look very different next season with 100 mil in cap and the draft
Yeah after FA and the draft, Bowles will have a lot of new toys to play with on defense. The offense will look the same.
I don't think so. I think Maccagnan is going to invest a ton into the offense this offseason - thinking we will have a new QB and a few new O-linemen. We also may have a new WR (thinking Landry or Allen Robinson). Bowles will get his fair share of players, perhaps Chubb at 6 and maybe a new CB to pair with Mo Claiborne. Still much to be seen regarding Demario being re-sgined
