Yeah, but USC is the #19 scoring offense and #18 passing offense in the country. Dilfer was terrible for the Ravens all year long including the playoffs. Roethlisberger was the Steelers MVP in the playoffs, easily though he did have one terrible game in the SB. A good QB is much more important in the NFL then it is in college.

Re: Dilfer, Roethlisberger- That was my point. The QB didn't matter in the recent Baltimore and Pittsburgh SB wins. You are right when you take into account the fact that NFL teams' seasons are usually ruined when the starting QB gets injured (99 Jets, 91 Eagles, 06 Bucs as just three examples). In college, the QB could go down and the team still can win.

Whether or not Notre Dame's non-Michigan/USC schedule holds up against the sched's of other teams (good debate about that here), they still got completely throttled by both BCS-worthy teams they faced. ND hasn't earned much respect. These games weren't even close.
