We are not getting this guy so why even talk about it? We may possibly get Mayfield and we all know how that will work out.
Why not? I think there are a few QB's who played better than Darnold this season. Mayfield is one of them and Rudolph and Rosen are two more. So depending on who's doing the evaluating, Darnold may be available when the Jets draft. The question is whether the Jets would be better off with one of the other three?
Darnold is going to be a better pro QB than college QB... and he's a still hell of a college QB despite what the draft nerds say

OSU talent-wise is the overwhelming favorite here (opening line was 6.5 points - now has jumped up to 8 points). Souther Cal's offensive line is in waaay over their head. As for Darnold, nice to see he's not sitting out even though he's moved back up in the draft ranks. USC 2017 Cheerleaders: 6.you can't beat those iconic white-sweater outfits. While TGG 2017 was mostly "oh my gosh Josh!" pom-pom central, I see a QB (who sat out his bowl game) hinting that he doesn't want to be the 1st selection in the draft. I saw another QB say that "it would be an honor" to be picked by any team in the NFL. sigh....the gritty competitive one that got away..... First one's fumbled away by Deontat Burnett....7-0 OSU. 2nd one's followed up with a 30 yard strike.....followed up by USC's OL getting blown up. Better team: OSU. Better QB: USC.
