wow go figure,,,,,its a White Xmas ! Went to bed around 3 and it was snowing and the temp had dropped to 33 but was not cold enough to stick,,,,,,,woke up and all is white even the street and sidewalk ,,,looks very cool,,,,Merry Christmas all
Absolutely nothing but rain in the Brick Township area (Stayed at my mom's place last night). Dog hated it. She prefers the snow.
I got about 3”. Early mixing killed the totals. Going to check out a big hill tomorrow. Hopefully it wasn’t wind swept and we can sled. Something next weekend maybe.
Fjay bundle them up its gonna be cold,,,,,,models seem to have lost this weekends storm but I am not on board with that yet . Time will tell but it seems models have had a real hard time this year and have lost stuff only to find it close to the event. They also were saying 50 s or 60 s on Xmas just days ago,,,,,lets see what Tuesday and Wednesday say if the find anything again,,,,,,BTW brutal temps on the way

Was just coming to post about next week. This Saturday will be practically nothing for my area, but I'm already seeing predictions for 3-5" next week.
Tale it with a grain of salt right now. Last Friday TWC has 12-20” predicted for my area. Hoping to get an inch now. Gfs for the 4-5ish has something but the set up is really tight. Could go either way. We’ll see what happens next 2-3 days. Should snow though. This cold for no reason sucks
Greenday because I'm a jooch I can't post pics but todays Euro looks sick for Jan 3rd or 4th,,,but then again that will change from run to run but it is fun to look at

Sucks that last week the models were saying monster storm this weekend,,,,,I am so with you Fjay, I have friends that constantly tell me " but you love the snow " I say if its going to be cold it might as well snow----->but these stupid cold temps without the white stuff just sux ass ! We will have to wait and see but the 4th will be here soon enough. BTW If anything falls this Saturday it sticks
crazy setup. Many moving parts. Jet streams interacting. Models are going to struggle with this system. Big time.
and then the models said " what storm...OUT TO SEA" Keep an eye on this period....one thing that has trended over the decades is snowstorms are the kick of a long duration of cold temps...or the end of that period...in this case it would be the end...will keep checking in. Another Chinese proverb...its never the first big one you track...its the one right after that.
so my kids got me a weather station for Xmas literally just set it up,,,,we will see how this goes,,,lol BTW great to see the Jayster making a cameo !
