This isn't a text message expressing his hatred of Trump. This is after many of those. This is a text message discussing some "insurance policy" in case Trump gets elected.
Hey...hey... Remember that time Obama tried to get $$$ for infrastructure ? a fukin Jobs bill and they were against it. Pretty much anything to help they were against ...sad...so sad
It's taken longer than the 100 days he announced at the inauguration because his insiders are still trying to figure out how to profit from it.
it was just a bunch of BS to get elected. His analytics team found that people in small town America care about their roads and bridges so they told him to start using it on the campaign trail and it worked. They never had plans to actually do anything
Well, ANYTHING Obama was for, the GOP was against. Can't have the nation's first BPOTUS be successful and leave a legacy now can we...High speed rail? Nah. Highway improvements? Not in my backyard!, Healthcare? Lets try to kill it before it actually starts helping. Pull out of Afghanistan? What would all those private security contractors (Mercs) do without a paycheck..? And so it goes..
I suppose he's just still talking about it now for shits and giggles? Politicians do this shit all the time but Trump will likely deliver and liberals will blame Russia. He'll get a lot of D support on that one. Now making Mexico pay for the wall - that's something we don't hear anymore.
Trump's analytics guy admitted what I said on 60 Minutes. and "the wall" was always and still is a fairy tale
And you'd think a guy with trump's supposed business acumen would know that growing an economy calls for a reliable infrastructure to better connect supply chains and efficiently move goods and services... not to mention ensuring the traveling public's safety "A man and his Oldsmobile" .
Another great example of how Trump has driven liberals completely mad. The guy has been saying he wants to invest in infrastructure, reiterates that sentiment and the complaints roll in that Trump doesn't really want to invest in infrastructure. lml I can't wait to see how mad ya'll get when it actually happens.
How unsual Trump jumping the gun http://www.news.com.au/world/north-...d/news-story/d754eedd10f9da82f74306dd3a6dd45d
As someone who cant vote and normally could not care about us politics Trump scares the shite , his unpredictability combined with his narcissism and his total lack of understanding of politics cant be good for the world. Regarding guns , we in Australia took the hard option after Port Arthur . Shame the USA cant do the same . ( yes I know NRA and gun manufacturers have influence and right to bear arms ....)
Just getting this in ahead of the crowd. Passing a tax cut during an economic boom is an incredibly stupid thing to do. That's how you encourage speculation and create a bubble that will burst. Recessions happen when people forget the lessons they learned from the previous one. Didn't think it would happen so soon.
Reducing Infastructure , that works well https://www.theguardian.com/business/2017/jul/30/amtrak-budget-cuts-texas-trump-support-betrayal
Just another issue both sides use to rile up voters. When Dems. knew there was no chance of getting a bill through congress they all go behind it, 109 co-sponsors, few years later, 2007, they take over congress and only 67 Dems . co-sponsored it. Why, because if they all backed it and it got to a vote they would have either had to vote for it or explain themselves to their constituents. 2009-2011 They had both houses and the Pres., nothing got done. Sure they only had 57or 59 in the Senate, not the 60 to stop a filibuster, but would think they could have brought a couple of Reps. over. If the rules currently in place were strictly enforced while increasing minimum sentences for illegal possession to 10 years or more, I would think homicides would go down. If not then you enact more measures, but to enact more measures when they aren't enforcing the ones currently on the books doesn't make much sense to me.
The Democrats passed gun control legislation in 2007, and Bush signed it into law. In 2009 the Democrats had higher priorities given the recession. When the economy settled down, they had enough political capital for healthcare or gun control, and they chose healthcare.
