I kind of soured on Cousins based on a recent article in which he said he believes he has CTE. He also said if he was forced to take a CTE test (if there was one available pre-mortem) and it was positive, he would quit football immediately.

These Mayfield lovers need to get a clue. Every Oklahoma QB is going to put up huge numbers in that system playing with NFL talent in a conference that doesn’t play defense. Mayfield is just another Bryce Petty or Geno Smith. Add that to the fact that the kid is extremely immature off the field and you can see that he has bust written all over him.

Unless there are some upsets the next two weeks, or teams rest starters in week 17, its unlikely the Jets will get higher than the 7th pick.

So if the Jets really like a guy outside of the overrated top two, they will have a very good chance at landing them. Also, some good QB prospects will drop to round 2. Or they can move on Cousins in FA, allowing us to draft Oline in round 1. Plenty of options...
