Let's hope that Morton gives Petty a better game plan and better play calling than Gailey gave him last year, and gives him some calls early to get him settled down, confident and in a groove. Even if he proves not to be that great, I hope he stays injury free and wish him well. If the Jets don't believe in him, I hope that he will play well enough that other teams will have interest in him, and he'll have a shot at a career elsewhere.

3 of those field goals will be 50, 52, and 55 yards. Catanzaro is going to kick ass. Best game ever by a Jets kicker.

 

I'm sure Brees is watching film of Alex Smith absolutely torching oor secondary on long passes downfield. I'd imagine we get toasted in this game. Especially after the coaching staff sent the team the message last week that they couldn't win the game. I'm very curious if the Jets fall behind big, if the players show a lack of effort.

 

These final 3 games are going to be unbearable to watch, especially with no offense, 35-6 saints, defense will be on oxygen by the mid point of the second quarter, Jets offense 3 and out, fumble and picks, should sum it up

Since the coaching staff appears to have already thrown in the towel on this one, I doubt the players even show up.

I'm hoping Petty plays well enough over these final 3 games that another team offers us a high draft pick, say mid-7th round, versus just cutting him on J-1.

Previously I would say 75 per cent of theGG were happy drafting a DT...just stupid
