Hey jay, something happening between the 22nd and 27th? Gfs has been consistent with that last few days.
for here..brutal. Temps in the 20s last night and 30s to near 40 here today. Was just outside talking to a friend and I said to him...big difference between Jersey and here when a cold front comes through that even in the winter, you sit outside in the sun and you can really still feel the warmth of the sun. Up north, you see the sun..but barely feel it. Sounds nuts but its 37 now? But really nice when standing in the sun.
The 22/23rd potential doesnt look anything that could be built on. Just a clipper. Perhaps closer to the 27 to 29th. Maybe a gulf interaction. Will start to show in models over the next 5 days if its a serious possibility.
Tonight/ Wednseday looks like it might be a bit more than expected,,,,,,,also the models keep jumping back and forth about Xmas week,,,,,Jay or Fjay I think there is still time for that to change ten more times,,,,lol
the HUGE question is whether todays 18z GFS is a game changer for the winter or does it need a drug test because it just said "WARNING...NEW PATTERN COMING JUST IN TIME FOR CHRISTMAS". ...AND BEYOND. Never one to take a 6 or 18z huge model change seriously unless....keep an eye on tonights model runs. I cant...but check them out.

I believe South Jersey shore. It is around 2 inches here in Madison. FYI. @jaywayne12 @FJF Every year during Christmas time I take my boys to Manhattan to see the tree and all those lights. We eat dinner, catch a show and stay the night. This year our annual "Stay a night at Times Square" is happening on December 23rd. Last 2 years rain ruined everything for us. How does it look for December 23rd for Manhattan?

Hey, jaywayne12, long time no see, how's by you? I was walking my dog last night at about 11:30 and it was so cold, I felt like I had a steel plate in my forehead. I'm an avid hiker and I'm pretty weather astute, but I just put general stuff on, ya know, like a COAT. My dog went to the bathroom faster than any dog in history, and I felt my fingers and knuckles triple in the arthritis factor just from picking up his poop. I could barely tie the knot on the bag. Holy Shit. Not the dog's.
Well it looks as if we are gonna get some more snow today,,,,,starts sometime after noon and city could be looking at something similar to the other day 1 to 3 ? and Greenday I think South Jersey could get 2-4 out of this at least thats what most guidance is saying, so thats what the Novice / me will say . Crazy weather pattern thus far Fjay and the REAL Jay/ SIR and others . I don't know if this holds up all winter but "TRENDS ,TRENDS TRENDS" where systems get picked up real late in the game and pulled farther North and West,,,,,,,snow lovers will take that if true.
