Injuries can happen to any player at any time. That doesn't change the fact that Watson in his very short time had a much bigger impact than either of the two safeties we took. That's partly due to him being really good, and partly due to the fact that a decent QB will have a much bigger impact than any other position which is why Macc needs to finally fill this gaping hole. You're right, Mahomes is an unknown still, but I still think having him and Maye would've made the Jets better than Adams and Maye. Time will tell.

Plus 100..people go to extremes here ...I am ready to leave too To answer your question ...I am really not sure if there is regression or progress since I don't have their stats over 12 games in front of me But gun to my head I woul say little or no progress since Toilet is a terrible Coach and the Defense is far from dominating (after millions invested in it..smh) I saw some games this season where one or both of them made some big plays...but nothing game changing imo
