And by that I'm referring to the money the Jets are still paying him this year.

He really helped the Jets out with his play. Picked up where he left off last year.

It honestly looked like he didn't want to be there.

revis lost all his confidence. he should have stayed retired. you can't be a CB in the NFL and be scared to press a WR on the flipside we tried pressing hill and failed hard

I honestly thought he was playing safety, that's how far off he was playing

Most likely didn't, but hey, there was a paycheck to be had.

Reid said he was on a snap count, played 39 snaps in the first half...hehe...

38 snaps must have been the threshold to trigger some kind of bonus in his contract.

Not to mention the repeated Olé tackle attempts. I am somewhat surprised because I thought that he would follow the Charles Woodson route and embrace his diminished skills while he transitioned to safety. He was such a sound tackler that I thought he could do it. With his love of money, he could've shown some desire for the balance of the season with the hope of parlaying it into a contract for next season - not going to happen, he's done...

It reminded me of the way he played Sammy Watkins against the Bills two years ago.

The best Jet player this century. Deservedly reviled by this fan base. What a shameful story.

His Super Bowl ring smells like a hemorrhoid and he knows it.

yup only the jets could draft a future HOFer but it has to be the 1 who is an asshole and ruins everything. had revis not been such a dick he would have been a career jet and made plenty of money

It’s all about the money. He knows that he is done, but just doesn’t care.

    Good luck Chiefs.

At least the Jets got their money's worth out of him this past Sunday. He played like a guy who knew which team was paying him more for his services.

I always knew the idea of his playing safety was a joke. Revis is a greedy SOB. If he goes into the HOF it better not be wearing a Jets uniform. I wish that we'd never drafted the POS.

I'm right there with you on this. I was ready to move on from him during the 2010 holdout. It still irritates me that, when the Jets finally appeared to be on the doorstep of where I'd been waiting them to get to after all those years, he was pulling that nonsense.

Favorite Revis moment was Rex Ryan telling his agent off on that conference call on Hard Knocks. I must have rewound that clip over and over. One of the few times Rex and I were completely on the same page.

It's absolutely a 100% certainty Revis is a 1st ballot hall of famer wearing a Jets uniform. GUARANTEED.

As far off he plays, he's basically a safety lol. But his piss poor tackling attempts looked sad. Damien Woody even got on his case on how he looked out there. He looks easily 15-20 lbs overweight
