He won't be missed but mighty strange nonetheless.

    He's been pretty solid.

Yes, absolutely he has lately but "pretty solid" is not something you miss.

Some sort of violation of team rules I imagine. Looking back at the offseason incident and his acting on the field I can imagine he probably reacted badly to something and is sitting out a game because of it. Growing pains for a young player... let's see what Bowles says after the game.

I hope it didn’t involve the Target parking lot.

He didn't have a good game last week but I thought he was playing a little better.

It would have been nice to see Bowles move him to weakside and have him blitz a little more as weakside LB just to see what he could do.

Spare the growing pains. It’s not too much to ask for to be a professional and not a knucklehead. Sharon Lee has a lot to mature on...

Should be interesting what Bowles says after the game. I would imagine its team rule related which is not a great look

I guess it gave the Jets the best chance to win.

I wonder what he did it can't be good.

What is good is Todd Bowles laying down the law.

Bowles said Lee was inactive for violating team rules.

Lee late to Saturday practice, Wilkerson late to team meeting (again). Cimini's columns write themselves.

    Slobs.

Tell me again why keeping Wilkerson past this season is a good move. Not only has his production fallen off drastically but he's been on record for being late or missing meetings twice now. Not worth it

Designate him as a june 1 cut and move on--He is way overpaid and setting bad example

Although he would net more cap savings as a June 1st cut, he would be 11 million we could put towards a Kirk Cousins or other free agents during free agency.

You can cut him prior to free agency and still designate it a June 1st cut. Besides, the money isn't calculated or paid until the season starts.
