If Luck is healthy, but the Colts want to rebuild around a new QB, they should offer the Browns Luck & their 1st for #1.

Sure, the Colts neglect their O line which causes Luck to be destroyed physically, now they can ship him to Cleveland to destroy him emotionally as well :D

Think it would be the Browns offering their 1 and a few other picks for Luck.

He pretty much brought the Colts to AFC champ games whilst being assaulted behind the worst o-line in the league, by himself.

I wonder if the Jets could get Luck, and then package him with their #1 to ship to Cleveland in return for the Brown's #1?

If you got Luck, why would you give him up?

Who are you taking with the top overall pick in this draft?

Luck is a career-ending injury waiting to happen. I wouldn't want him other than as a trading chip.

    Rosen.

Every player is a career-ending injury waiting to happen.

    Luck >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Rosen

Rosen is way too risky a prospect to mortgage the future on by trading, and I'm not sure he's even worth a top 5 pick.

Well I guess we'll have to agree to disagree. But if you read the articles I posted about draft values, the "future" they represent isn't really that valuable in the scheme of things. Not saying they're not worth something, especially 1st rounders, but if you give them up in return for a transcendent talent - and here I know we disagree that Rosen is that guy - then it's worth the price.

Luck has proven to be fragile, and even if he stays healthy, I don't think they get more than 3 years out of him, but I bet the contract/cap space commitment is longer than his shelf life, making him a bad investment.

I'm against throwing the future to move up and grab a guy. The Jets are nowhere near that close to make a bold move like that. They should have 3 nicely group picks in the first two rounds. Not a lot of confidence in Macc doing anything good with them though. If Bowles stays around we will already know what direction they will be going.

Cousins is soon to be on the other side of 30. How many QB switch teams at that age and go on winning? P. Manning is the exception. If we had an offensive minded coach I would feel a little better about Cousins. I'm betting Cousins stays with Washington either franchised (30 million per year) or they workout a new contract cap friendly but still loaded.

Like Ive previously posted the best QBs are at the top of the First Round so chin up and lets get to 4-12... the only destiny we have under our control

I have to say Boozer you have some good knowledge and insight...but it is uphill sledding on TGG for all us witnesses to SB III

I pray the Jets don't sign Cousins.

Warner,Gannon, vinny, favre, Montana had some successs in kc
Qbs most productive years are 30-33. It’s that high point in the arc where physical and mental meet. We get cousins we are likely getting his best years

Thank you I respect alot of posters on this board and you definately being right there along with Colorado. Those are just two but there are many others and I enjoy talking and venting here. I apologize for the over the top negativity but like you its been since the 60's for us. With more tragic years than good years.

Gannon and Warner won SB after 30. But Warner was a UDFA who took over after a injury not signed. That was pure luck that I wiish the Jets would have one day. So Gannon and Manning. The Jets almost had that good luck with Vinny. Then bad luck happened twice. Once in Denver with Byars fumbling and then first game next year Vinny going out with an achilles injury .

I was referring to cardinals Kurt but the point remains,30 for a qb is not a deterrent (at least shouldn’t be) cousins has a lot of good ball left and is a safer gamble than any of the draft prospects

They could get Allen right now with their record. He's having an awful year and if Mayfield and Jackson are there and he picks Allen get ready for Hiroshima/Nagasaki type blowback. Plus all the other nonsense with McCown coming back and Hackenberg hanging around like a vulture. Just saying.

I agree the Jets are not even ballpark close. Until they fix that offensive line nothing should be discussed. Macc signing Winters was step one to the disaster, Beachum was on the street for a reason and the center needs to be on the practice squad.
