I have not remotely mentioned Mehta but you want to bring him into this????....ARE YOU OK SONNY?

Oh you have seen them play? Where do you want the medal for that??? Oh I forgot no one else can see them play except YOU

I wanted these guys for some time now. (actually a FQB before you were ever conceived) .check my Content Son

Dude, you know this board archives right?

If I search, your username and the word 'Rosen' the first time you brought him up was in 'Feb 11, 2017'. I search him and I get 'Oct 23, 2015'

    So what?

Do you work for the CIA and will check the "archives"...ahahahah

i think you unwisely make a date as evidence of where one has an opinion or not

The way YOU think is that because you KNEW about Rosen and Darnold earlier and maybe followed them this somehow makes more worthy to post an opinion

I hope you are not in Law School because your logic is a bit faulty

Do you still want to continue to look stupid here? The deeper the rabbit hole we go, the worse you look. Did you not just say "Check my content?" Congrats you picked up the Daily News and read Mehta's bullshit, congrats! The point is, don't tell me I haven't watched a player play or question my love for this team by calling me a Pats fan.

Obviously my opinion holds some weight considering you are throwing my name around these boards.

You are a defensive little nerd.who thinks hes Mike Mayock because he looks up stats and supposedly sees players in ganes Are you a Scout??.I throw your name around because you wont admit you talk both ways about subjects and player. Plus I highlighted proof of your nonsence

You bring in M Mehta a Sports Columist to obfuscate the issue (I wont define the word for you sorry son)

You are important ?? Dont think so

Called you a pats fan? Well sorry to get your panties in a bunch..(I was just kidding but you are obviously deadly serious abut a Fan board discussion hehe) when I said check my Content I wanted you to see I have posted about QB concerns with the Jets for years now..just like NC, Contrails, Dark Knight..we all have opinions...This means nothing to your arrogant little self

cant take the heat? put me on ignore

Yesterday in the Daily News Mehta wrote that the Jets should never draft Lamar Jackson. I guess those of us who know about this writer's football acumen have concluded that this QB would be a great choice.

lmao, I mentioned Mehta because that's your source of information. Did you not judge Lamar Jackson based off that article? You have no opinion, you base it off losers like Jetsfan and Mehta. When did I drop stats? I do this shit for fun, and I want to see good players get drafted by the Jets. I want the Jets to win a SB. That at most we have in common.

I agree with most of what you say, but if they could trade up for Rosen (but I don't think anyone ahead of them will be willing to pass on him), within reason, i.e. swap 1sts, their second 2nd, and next year's first, and maybe a couple of other minor pieces, then I would prefer Rosen. But if they could get Cousins - and I think that's a stretch - then yes, taking him and then drafting a Stidham or one of the Tier 2 QBs, would be a good move.

  13. It’s funny but I’m to the point where as long as it’s a legit 1st round QB taken in a somewhat reasonable spot I’ll be happy.Do I have a preference & an opinion on whom is the best player & best fit would be?Of course. But if Mac & Bowles/Morton can actually reach a consensus that one of the QBs is the present but more importantly the future of the Jets I’m 100% on board.

    1.Rosen
    2. Darnold
    3.Allen
    4.Jackson
    5.Mayfield
    6.Rudolph
    7.Faulk

Is how I’d rank them as best fits for the Jets.Jackson would be higher than Allen on big board.Ill take any of them.Give me hope

I would prefer Rosen as well. He will be 21 his rookie year. Cousins will be 30.

YOU were exposed bad today pal

At least 2 places you contradict yourself : Rosens Cousins and and Stidham

I see you just agreed with Contrails you prefer Rosen...prior to that all you did was push for Cousins and give posters who wanted to draft a QB a hard time

Is that the best you can do??? Just accuse everyone with a point view that they ALL get it from Mehta???

    Weak

By the time the seasons over and we make it to 4-12 you dont have to run such a scenario with Cousins and another Petty (Stidham)

With that record we have at least a top 5 pick

plus you dont know what deals the other teams will entertain until the time comes...even for Darnold or Rosen

To me, there's Rosen and then everyone else. There's a Tier 2 group that has Darnold, Mayfield, Jackson, Rudolph, Allen, and maybe Faulk at this point, and then there's the Tier 3 group of guys who might be diamonds in the rough, like Stidham. If we can't get Rosen - and I'm pretty sure there's no scenario at this point that allows them to get him - then my next best hope would be to grab Barkley, although he may be beyond their reach too. If not Rosen, or Barkley, then I would have to see how good one of the Tier 2 guys are, and if they guy I want might slip to my 2nd pick. If not, I take him with the 1st pick; if he might slip, then if there's a stud edge rusher or LT available, maybe consider trading down and take them plus get more picks. There's a LOT that will shake out before April.

IMO if you are a GM and are serious about drafting a FQB you forget the Tiers and just do your research for WHO IS THE BEST 1 or 2 because thats all I want for my Team...If its Rosen then you move heaven and earth to get him and forget the rest...just as a backup plan I would select one more eg Darnold if for some reason I could not get Rosen and work my plan again till success

You mention "there are no scenarios to get Rosen" How do you know that till you try?...everything has a price . And Dont forget our final record will prob be 4-12

Also you say "Stidham is a possible diamond in the rough" Why? because 101 thinks so?? and will assure you "he has seen him play" over and over haha. He is not on anyone's radar but one poster here believes he is a good player LMAO ..you should not be so trusting and find some objective articles about him

lmao talking about a player, you've never actually seen play. No wonder your opinion isn't highly regarded around here  ... Actually, I wasn't the first one to bring up Stidham, he's been talked about a lot between fans that actually see these players play. A person with actual intelligence would go on the draft board before saying such comments.

But I guess since Mehta didn't bring him up, he's not worth talking about!
