But The Giants will..As usual we'll be on the sidelines when the prime talent is chosen unless Macc goes all in.

I think Jets will go in. The fan base is fed up with all these scrub QB's. The good thing is, if we miss out on Rosen/Darnold, Mayfield might be a consolation prize.

I just thought that the UCLA punting unit wasn't on the same page. It looked like the punter intentionally kicked the ball to the right sideline. Did the STs coordinator call that or did their punter choose to do that? If so, it looks like he would have told his unit that was where he was punting the ball. It was bizarre that he didn't even seem to run to the right after he punted the ball. There were no UCLA defenders on that side of the field.

No, that was a play. At first, I thought the same as you, but looking at the replay it became clear what happened although you are right, the UCLA punter didn't help matters by punting to the right side of the field, but I think he was just supposed to punt it straight away. Just before the ball was snapped, another USC player quietly dropped back on the right side to field the punt. In fact, it might have looked to UCLA like the guy was leaving the field. After the ball was punted, the original punt receiver moved all the way over to the left as if to field the punt, even raising his hand for a fair catch, USC blockers also began setting up on the left too, that drew almost all UCLA defenders to that side of the field. Meanwhile, the punt was fielded on the right by the second returner who only had to beat two guys one of which was the punter, who originally started left following everyone, but quickly realized he had punted right and he had to go that way even though his whole team went the other way. Very bizarre. Don't think I ever saw that before.

gonna be the best qb class since 2004 IMO.

Darnold, I see a guy that can win you games with a very good supporting cast around him but Rosen in terms of throwing the football is just on another level. Rosen is just a better technician out there. Anticipation excellent, release, accurate and on point. I hope people hate on his character and his stock drops. Rosen is the only QB, I would go up and trade for. I think Mac feels the same way.

The Ghost was a freak athlete.. how many sacks did he have? Phil has been wrong too many times to have any credibility. This guy isn't on anyone's radar but the Jets. Do the Jets have a scouting dept. that is light years ahead of other teams? Oh yeah the same scouts that wanted Hack in round 2.

If anyone cares, there may be a Paxton Lynch sighting today before the game is over.

I think he shanked it, I don't think he purposely punted it there. And it did look like he started running upfield to the left, instead where the ball went - very odd play.

Well well well, the Giants get a surprising win versus a Chiefs team that looks like a shell of its former self.

Hopefully the Giants can play spoiler and win a few more games so they too can be knocked out of the running of getting a QB. Suddenly, it seems as if the Broncos may be in position to get a QB because Paxton Lynch has gone missing

Given the volume of picks that they have, I can't see Cleveland trading down again and passing on Rosen. Our best option may be to grab one of the top rated OL, and see if we can trade back into the late first or get lucky in the 2nd with a guy like Allen or Mayfield. SF at #2 may be open for business, but trading the farm for Darnold is a little unsettling.

Rosen is the most NFL ready QB out of the bunch and I don't even think its' that close. If Macc feels like he's the one, then by all means go up and get him. He's concerning in the sense that he makes some dumb decisions but as a thrower of the football, he looks the most natural and polished out of the entire class. His attitude is also a concern but maybe as he ages and becomes more mature, he'll have to tighten things up.

I would love Rosen on the team - paired with an offensive minded coach and the Jets would actually have a glimmer of hope for the future IMO

I agree, but if Bowles remains HC, Rosen may never see the field.

I have no doubt that if there's ANY chance the Broncos can trade up - whatever it takes - they'll grab Rosen or Darnold. That's what happens when you have someone in charge who knows the value of a FQB.

Lol, he'll just play McCown till he's a skeleton.

Trading up for Rosen is only under the pretense that Bowles is no longer the coach.

You're absolutely right, but there is NO chance the Browns - or anyone else I can think of - will pass on him. He's a "plug and play" QB (for anyone but the Todd Bowles Jets).

True - but are they going to give up on Paxton Lynch - a first rounder without having seen him play?

Also they just fired McCoy as OC so I wonder if that will wake that team up and have them back on the winning track
