Buster Skrine needs to ride the pine ffs. He has 15 penalties this year, way more than any other defensive back. I don't get it. Are the backups that much worse??
Based off today, they may lose out. The rest of the schedule is brutal. If McNown can’t do jack against a shitty Bucs D, how bad is he going to look against Denver, KC, NO, Carolina and company with good defenses?
That is my fervent wish, especially (of course) if McCown keeps playing. 4-12 will give them plenty of opportunities to get the players they need (whether they'll succeed in choosing them is another matter, of course).
The only flaw in this and it is a big one , is that Uncle Todd would still be the coach and nothing else would matter .

The corollary to them losing their last 7 games is the hope that it leads to the head coach being fired as well. I actually think that that is a reasonable expectation, given how they are going to be savaged in the press the next two weeks for today's pathetic performance.
I gave TB kudos for getting his team ready for the bills but today is on him and the CS. To say it was an embarrassment is an understatement. mainjet is right, this guy is worthless as a HC.
Jets simply aren't talented enough to win games week in and week out. A young team inexperienced on the road. The offensive line got destroyed today. Tackles and centers played awful. Defense played great, but the offense just couldn't do jack shit. McCown utterly useless against the blitz. Defense will continue to keep the Jets in games, but that offense needs to be upgraded big time.
Not really, this class has been completely over sold. Some good not great prospects, some guys putting up big stats in spread offenses that generally don’t do well in the league . More hype than anything
SNY post game merely repeated what all of us already knew. Our HC sucks at in game adjustments. I mean hell, did he even make any adjustments today? Because I didn't see a single adjustment? The single best thing Woody could do during the off season is fire Toilet. We MUST have a HC that plays chess.
It also bears mentioning that our HC is NOT a Parcells disciple. Parcells would have had this team on FIRE coming off 10 days to prepare. Toilet allowed them to show up UNPREPARED.
Don't worry ... the Giants will get first pick of whatever QB they want this year. And it will be a future Hall of Famer. Which is exactly what I predicted would happen 6 weeks ago.

we play them once every 4 years. not my biggest concern. i can think of way worse places a true fqb could land for the next 10 years.
since it never occurred to them to try to change momentum in this game by bringing in petty, going to a spread 2 minute offense, and attacking the bucs defense downfield, i doubt it. bowles looks just like rex starting the vet qb who does nothng rather than use a backup who might be able to change the offensive dynamic during the game.
