We can't fall asleep on this one. We need to control the game and the clock. No freaking last minute melt downs. We need to give them a huge dose of Billal, Elijah and Forte.
This is becoming a scary one now...No Winston, No Evans maybe, Bad record, maybe a road favorite now, etc. They gotta put the blinders and ear plugs on and go down there with the intent of kickin Fitz' ass. Running the ball down their throat and an early lead could put them down
Right now I am seeing the Jets at +1.5 pts., need to get vbookie open so I can throw down $52,000 Edit: that was before the Evans suspension and news Winston was out, seeing them all over the place now, some favoring and some as the dog
I'm predicting Adams gets his first interception this week. Hopefully they continue to over-target Brate.
It seemed like Fitz was dumping off to Barber a bunch, could be they see a lot of practice time together with the back ups. He targeted Brate 2 times in the 2nd half but both incomplete. TB running game hasn't done much which means more pressure on Fitz to produce. Edit: And Fitz has shaved, he is toast Edit 2.0: Wonder what the over under on times the announcers bring up the total number of teams Fitz and McCown have played for
Well, McCown is the reason they drafted Winston after a 2-14 season. Now he can come back and haunt them as a contributor to another loosing Buck season. The Jets need to treat this game like a play off game and go for the throat. I predict a huge game for Billal and Eljah. .
Stack the middle of the field. Force Fitz to throw it outside the numbers all game. Defensive line get your hands up
Force him to throw long, right? But I am with an agreement with couple here, doesn’t matter who we face or who is not playing, control the game with running game, eat up the clock and score often
Fully expect this game to be close, however, if the Jets can find a way to blow out a team that is extremely compromised, it will definitely show progress.
Agree with this 100%. Key to victory is tire the defense down with the run and keep their offense off the field. Force Fitz to come from behind with medium, long throws outside the hash marks.
Yep. There is a chance this is an awful game though. Clearly the Bucs are a mess and the Jets seem to be on track after Thursday Night, but you can never fully trust them. That is a good game plan. Maybe double cover Desean Jackson if Evans is really out. Fitz has looked terrible ever since that Chiefs game last year. He looked awful in Preseason, he looked awful in relief a couple times this year. However, this is the Jets, so he could have a career performance.
Bucs have 3 road games after this.. I bet he's thinking this game is winnable so I'll appeal to play this week and sit out one of the road games.
