Childhoods end is one of my favorites. Waters was such a great writer with Floyd, its strange how the majority of success he has since leaving the band revolves around rehashing what he did with Floyd, while Gilmour does great with his solo material. I had pretty good seats at the garden for Gilmour in 16,but I the 1st time I got through to order tix I had 4th row and it booted me off ticketmaster and made me start over. I guess those seats aren't for us common folk lol

After promising the wife I wouldn’t see any concerts in December because I am spending $ on our trip to NOLA to see the Jets/Saints game, High On Fire ends up added an “intimate” show at St. Vitus in Greenpoint BK. Haven’t told the boss lady I got tickets. Love Matt Pike & HOF!
Picked up some used vinyl yesterday and came across Stephen Stills Thoroughfare Gap. Contains a pretty funky version of the Greg Allman classic Midnight Rider!
Time to bring out a great classic. Jim Carroll, what a NYC icon. It was really sad how he died, died. Hep C. pneumonia, and a heart attack. Became a bit of a recluse, lost some teeth, dwindled into nothing physically, close to destitute, but was writing when he kicked. Not a bad way to go in the end, I guess, minus the Hep C, pneumonia, heart attack, ill- health, toothlessness, and destitution.
