This season is nothing more than a time killer from now until 2018. Our QB of the future is not on the roster. Just once I want to see the Jets have a QB that transcends the game.
It’s not that we don’t have a Matt Ryan, it’s that we continue to trot bums like Fitzpatrick and McCown out there and Jets fans applaud it. And God help us when they win a game, we act like they just led us to the Super Bowl. We are such battered wives that when a guy only smacks us with an open hand instead of with his fist we think he’s treating us like a princess.
Well at least we're kinda tanking. I'd go nuts if McCown stayed for the next season. I hope Woody will start sucking up to the Colts soon.

Jets post game Bowles says "I saw our young quarterbacks this summer. Josh is our QB" pretty damning statement. We aren't good enough to overcome mistakes or missed opportunities to score. Bowles obviously doesn't think much of Macc's 2 hand picked QB's. Also, Aradarius Stewart was a healthy scratch today because yet again Bowles ignored using rookies. You draft a kid in the third round you give him an opportunity to play, don't bench him for a vet that we signed a few games into the season. It's a bullshit approach and I really do hope Bowles pays for these personnel and time management decisions with his job. We are trending downwards and if we get a top 5 pick, I don't want Bowles having anything to do with that pick.
Half time here and I guess after seeing the score I am having a better time. Still this losing by a score was my ideal scenario in the summer. Hmm.
I just don’t trust a coach who sees Josh McCown, reviews his career and concludes he is worth playing over a young QB to evaluate the abilities of any young QB you ever bring in.
