This has been going on through the last 20+ years (much longer than that actually), under numerous Presidents and other government officials. They don't even try to hide it anymore, it's just a big fuck you to the voting public. Obama - Level 3 Communications with big stimulus contracts, 200 of his biggest donors landed contracts and jobs from the government. Bush - Big campaign donors got big Iraq and Afghanistan contracts And back through Clinton, Bush #1, etc. Muhammad Yunus got $13M in State Dept grants under Hillary even though he was ousted from Grameen Bank on corruption charges. Of course there is also the Uranium deal which "Hillary had nothing to do with", right? Only millions of dollars flowed to the Clinton Foundation and Bill's pockets for speeches.
I honestly don’t know how anyone pulled either lever last November. This is what happens when people just vote the party line
Gary Johnson rally on the steps on the Supreme Court tomorrow. He may not be the Libertarian candidate next election but he is still trying to force a change to the debate rules to at least give 3rd party candidates an outside shot.
No reason for the powers that be to make any changes to allow such a threat to their way of life. I’m not holding my breathe.
While the money rolls in for them, no way they give up that control without a big fight. Until they remove the corporate money from politics I don't see much changing.
It’s going to take people wanting to look for a 3rd option and not saying “why bother,they won’t win anyway” and/or the 2 parties get so divided it leaves room for a 3rd party in the middle. I have faith the 2 parties will eventually fuck them selves right out of total control eventually. Like mark cuban says,”all hogs get slaughtered eventually “
Just watched the Frontline on Putin - past edition and it's pretty clear he hated Hillary with a passion and would have done anything he could to keep her out of the White House. He didn't have to want Trump to order interference he just had to hate Trump less than he hated Hillary which was easy. Also it's pretty clear that Putin thinks we're coming for him in a "get Qaddafi" way and he's going to do whatever he has to do to survive.
