I feel like Todd Bowles is a good guy that is relatable and someone you have lead a certain group within a defense but he shows little control with his whole squad. He does not demonstrate the leadership you need on the field. Most of the time he is smiling at all of the fuck ups his team does. The team shows no sense of urgency and there is no feeling that he strikes fear on others. I'll give him the season but Bowles is below average as a head coach
Screaming and yelling doesn't make you a good coach. Do you remember rex? He's coaching out of his mind this season. This team is competitive despite its distinct lack of talent and i see young guys improving each week Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
On another note, if I was Bowles I would have told the media after the game that 9 of 10 questions were absolutely outrageous and beyond stupid. He's a better man than I am for not doing so.
Of course. He can't say anything afterward. If he bitched and cried there would be another set of posters calling a him a dumb bitch. His players talked for him with their effort today.
Bowles is who he is. Not a public screamer, not very animated either. They say in meetings and such he's a firebrand but on the sidelines, he's the Sphinx. Just his style and his players seem to buy into it so get used to this. It is what it is.
I give him that a bunch of crap players are doing well here...But we have to give credit to Morton alot here and McCown for making this offense stand out. Our young players on defense are playing good, but Bowles doesnt do one thing I hate. 0 IN-GAME ADJUSTMENTS
I respectfully disagree. I think they adjusted well 10 second half point after the pats moved well on the opening drive. Plus bullshit penalties helped get them 3 of those points. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
I want to be clear with one thing...Fuck Rex Ryan. I dont want a loud brash coach who yells at everything, I just want a head coach who shows accountablity and will stand up for the team over the pleothra of hot garbage calls we took from the refs. You can have both.
Bowles has done a better job this year than last, but the biggest difference this season in the team is Morton and how he's transformed the offense from its prior Jurassic style into something resembling a modern NFL offense. The Defense no longer has to carry the team as the offense NOW can more than hold its own. Bowles doesn't really have to worry about the offense anymore which is probably a good thing. He can perhaps even coax something vaguely resembling a pass rush without a blitz one day.
Fair enough, but right after the halftime the Pats scored again. We changed our mindset down 10 and hurried our offense a little. But what about the lack of hustle on the playcalling between 6 to 4 minutes to go. We were so non chalant moving the chains down 10
Well, Macc chose to dismantle the "Sons of Anarchy". He paid the wrong member as we saw today. We were getting gashed up the middle all day long and I have to think Snacks puts a stop to that. Who's would be more valuable to the team now? Harrison, Richardson or Wilkerson?
The first half, Morton did fine up until the point he shut down the attacking style and went conservative. That was pretty much the beginning of the end today.
Thats on the head coach though...he makes decisions on things like that. Morton calls the plays he doesnt dictate how we manage the clock in a game. Unless I am mistaken
Yeah the play calling changed dramatically. ASJ should have gotten 40 touches today Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
I was very sad we couldnt keep Snacks and trade Shelden before we had a shot to keep Snacks. That sucked
