This is silly. The ball moved but he always had the ball. And then they handed it to NE. The call on the field was TD. THERE WAS NOTHING CONCLUSIVE TO OVERTURN!! Grab the pitchforks
We would have been driving for a field goal at the end and may have won the game. The NFL is an absolute discrace
People need to lose their jobs over this one. There is nothing about the call that can be considered acceptable. Even if there was any doubt, they called it a TD on the field. The only thing conclusive about the call is that the refs were paid off.
A lot fans don't know the rules and many of the complaints posted are because of the fact the NFL doesn't make the rules clear. NOT IN THIS CASE. That was a bad call. It should have had a touchdown.
All day this fucking shit happened. The ref especially that chubby dude (Dont know his name, he was the black guy who called off the helmet shot on Robbie Anderson) that literally would have driven us towards a 21-0 or 17-0 lead. Then that same fucking ref did not say missed field goal on Gostowskis kick. This whole league is run by bitches. They are bleeding money and need top teams to win because ratings are dying. Also, lets not forget that bullshit jamal adams penalty on Gronk in the endzone. I thought 100% that was offensive penalty. Fuck the SHIELD
Been watching the NFL since 1971, that was the most disgraceful call I have ever witnessed. Pathetic doesn't even begin to describe it.
This is the pinnacle of refball bullshit. I am mad, very mad. I love how our guys played, I am genuinely proud of every single one of them. This team is going places, now it's official if there were any doubters.
I'm so glad we have something new to complain about, like there wasn't already enough with this team.
I wanna hear the explanation for them picking up the flag when Robbie Anderson got speared in the fucking face Up 14-0 and would have had the ball deep in NE territory The ASJ replay call will get all the attention but WTF was that
He never fumbled the ball. How do you come to the conclusion that a guy who never fumbled, fumbled? LMFAO
Whoever made the call is clearly a Pats fan.Because there's no other reason to make that call other then that
Yep, lost in the shadow what has already been described by some as "the worst call in NFL history", is the game changing shenanigans between picking up the flag on the head shot on Anderson and the phantom PI on Adams. Incredible that an official said there was no head contact and felt confident enough to reverse the call - when the replay literally shows Anderson taking a helmet right in the face mask.
I would suggest that everyone call the National Fixed League tomorrow to ask them what they are going to do about the call and who was fired.
