IF there's a time for this defensive line to do work, this is it. The Pats offensive line is BAD...the Jets need to put pressure on Brady.
Their OL might suck. Brady took some nasty shots last week against Tampa. By some miracle the refs didn't throw a flag every time he was touched like they usually do. Brady was slow getting up a few times and for the first time watching him he looked like an old man to me. Regardless of what happens on the scoreboard it would be nice to pick up where Tampa left off and knock him on his ass alot
I feel like everyone pulls up rather than hit Br*dy, likely as the refs are real quick with the flags for any hit on him. I'm saying F that. Hit him hard and if the refs throw a BS flag, so be it. It will have an effect, as he's proven he'll turn full bitch once he gets hit. And with the banged up shoulder, I think he'll bitch out even quicker than usual. It's the best path to beating this team, and I agree it's more satisfying to watch. I expect Belichick will dink and dunk to get ball out of his hands quickly like usual, avoiding the hits, while taking advantage of LB mismatches. Bowles needs to counter by clogging the short pass with coverage. Time to pull out the 3 Safety Dime again, 4 pass rushers, and 1 MLB imo.
with Brady being 40 years old and Mccown being 38, this feels like it has to be the oldest combined starting age for opposing Qbs (78) in an NFL game. just a fun thread, i'm sure someone will prove it wrong
Brutal. I would invite him for an ice-cold Pepsi and some food on Sunday, but it takes a long time to go to the moon and back. The funny part is, I actually went, hmmm, and thought about the Math first because I'm semi-retarded.
No way you can give them extra downs or yards with BS flags. They have the number 3 scoring offense in the league, the top rated yards and passing offense as well. Discipline is the name of the game with Bellicheat, that's what Brady wants, play the victim and have the refs feel bad for him. Ealy if healthy should make a difference and should be a repeat of what they did to Bortles. The lefts side of the pats line is not playing well right now, keep an eye on that matchup with Ealy and Solder.
it's Saturday somewhere lol (and yes i understand if it's Saturday there the game would be played Monday there)
Mo and Powell didn't practice this week and are questionable. Game time decisions I suppose. Not expecting Powell but hope to see Mo. Everybody else looks good to go
I'm still searching, but I feel like Favre/Warner set this record years back in a shootout game. Or was it Vinny against Warner? I'm sure I've heard of this record before. Will edit... edit --1998 - Vinny T. vs. Steve DeBerg --79 years edit #2 - Upon further review, it was Vinny, but not in 98. It was 2007, Panthers vs. Packers. Vinny was 44, Favre 38, for a combined 82 years. http://voices.washingtonpost.com/nflinsider/2007/11/its_testaverde_vs_favre_in_old.html
